We are currently seeking a SAP Hana Database Consultant (REMOTE) to join our team in Mexico, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

SAP HANA Database Specialist

REMOTE ROLE

Role:

Your role will be Database Administrator driving critical topics related to Incident Management, Problem Management, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup &Restore.

You will be responsible for delivering  Operations Services for SAP customers in a comprehensive Managed Service. Acting as a trusted Database Advisor, you will provide expert support during critical incidents, offer configuration recommendations, handle database escalations, and offer database consultations. In addition, you will actively share insights and learnings to help enable and upskill the broader team.

Experience:

1. Minimum 6+ years database expertise
2. Good technical understanding in SAP HANA Database and ASE Database Platforms
3. Experience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis.
4. Knowledge in different tracing - SQL trace, performance trace, runtime dump analysis, HANA SQL Plan cache analysis is essential
5. Well organized, willingness to learn and own the topics and share the knowledge with the team.
6. Willingness to take on-call duties as required by business.
7. Understanding of different hyperscalers would be an added advantage.
8. Having Basis knowledge is a plus.
9. Exposure to the automation tools /scripting or processes
10. DB installations and upgrade, Planning, setup and implementation.
11. Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems.
12.  DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication is must.
13.  Organize / Structure day2day documentation
14. Cloud knowledge (e.g. experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP) is desirable but not essential.
