We are currently seeking a Sr. Scrum Master (FTE / Onsite) to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota (US-MN), United States (US).
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Support Agile delivery provides business value and delivers quality results ensuring alignment and adherence to Wells Fargo Agile practices, managing capacity and mitigating risk.
- Facilitate Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams.
- Ensure the flow of work is systemically managed to effectively and efficiently deliver value, including partnering with Product Owner to ensure a healthy backlog.
- Perform and share regular Agile team health checks and enable the team to incorporate targets into continuous improvement goals.
- Protect the team from distractions and support the resolution of their impediments so they can focus on their commitments and maximize the benefit of the team's performance potential.
- Works with Product Owner to communicate delivery of work product from the delivery team and escalates key risks and issues impeding delivery team effectiveness.
- Establishing, communicating, and monitoring product-area goals and performance indicators.
- Facilitating frequent collaboration between stakeholders.
- Actively owning the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to product area vision and goals.
- Coordinating with other product owners in service of the customer experience.
- Defining and refining user stories, including business readiness stories, ensuring acceptance criteria is clearly understood by the team.
- Responsible for ensuring that all known work is added to the backlog and made transparent.
- Maintain a healthy backlog of items that are linked appropriately (Story → Feature → Epic).
- Accepting user stories after they have met the acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
- Actively participating in all product area events.
- Identifying and resolving sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
- Inspiring and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Being available to the team to answer questions and address escalated impediments.
- Maintaining continuous and cadenced communication with the product manager and delivery teams
- Coordinating with business analysts, delivery coordinators, POs, and supporting roles that are shared across delivery teams.
Recommended skills
- 5+ years’ experience with Agile practices, and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow, and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, and Jira
- Experience with human centered design principles
- Strong risk management leadership skills
- Strong dependency management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
- Ability to influence and lead organizational changes in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Experience working with and leading delivery teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $83,520.00 to $125,280.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
