We are currently seeking a Angular Developer - Hybrid Position to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).

 

Day-to-Day Job Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable, and responsive web applications using the latest versions of Angular (12+).
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and translate them into high‑quality user interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability, following front‑end best practices.
  • Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring smooth and secure data flows.
  • Implement and maintain automated unit and integration tests using Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
  • Participate in daily Scrum activities, sprint planning, grooming, and code reviews as part of an Agile development team.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Angular applications to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in the Angular ecosystem, front‑end technologies, and UI engineering practices.
  • Document code, components, and architecture to support long‑term maintainability.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving overall team engineering standards.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience building modern web applications using Angular (preferably Angular 12+).
  • 7+ years of strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS.
  • Solid experience with responsive/adaptive UI design and front‑end performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
  • 2+ years working with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma and E2E testing tools.
  • Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
  • Ability to write reusable, modular, and well‑documented Angular components.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative Agile team.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx or Akita.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to other front‑end or mobile frameworks (React, Vue, Ionic).
  • Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools.
  • Open-source contributions or a strong personal project portfolio.
  • Prior project lead or mentorship experience.

 

Preferred Location: Montreal - Client site / Hybrid. 

 

Degree - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Tâches quotidiennes

Concevoir, développer et maintenir des applications web complexes, évolutives et responsives avec les dernières versions d'Angular (12+).

Écrire du code TypeScript, HTML et SCSS propre, maintenable et performant, en respectant les bonnes pratiques du secteur.

Collaborer avec les designers UI/UX pour garantir la faisabilité technique des maquettes et les traduire en interfaces utilisateur de haute qualité.

Optimiser les applications pour une vitesse, des performances et une évolutivité maximales, en suivant les bonnes pratiques front-end.

Intégrer les applications Angular avec des API RESTful et des services back-end, en assurant des flux de données fluides et sécurisés.

Mettre en œuvre et maintenir des tests unitaires et d'intégration automatisés avec Jasmine, Karma ou Cypress.

Participer aux activités Scrum quotidiennes, à la planification des sprints, au grooming et aux revues de code au sein d'une équipe de développement Agile.

Dépanner, déboguer et mettre à jour les applications Angular existantes pour améliorer leurs performances et leur maintenabilité.

Se tenir informé(e) des dernières tendances de l'écosystème Angular, des technologies front-end et des pratiques d'ingénierie UI. Documenter le code, les composants et l'architecture pour garantir la maintenabilité à long terme.

Encadrer les développeurs juniors et contribuer à l'amélioration des standards d'ingénierie de l'équipe.

 

Qualifications requises :

Plus de 7 ans d'expérience dans le développement d'applications web modernes avec Angular (de préférence Angular 12+).

Plus de 7 ans d'expérience en JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 et préprocesseurs tels que SASS/SCSS.

Solide expérience en conception d'interfaces utilisateur responsives/adaptatives et en optimisation des performances front-end.

Expérience d'intégration d'API RESTful et de gestion de données asynchrones.

Plus de 2 ans d'expérience avec des frameworks de tests unitaires tels que Jasmine/Karma et des outils de tests E2E.

Expérience d'utilisation de Git ou d'un système de contrôle de version similaire.

Capacité à développer des composants Angular réutilisables, modulaires et bien documentés.

Excellentes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes, souci du détail et capacité à travailler de manière autonome ou au sein d'une équipe Agile.

 

Atouts :

Expérience des bibliothèques de gestion d’état telles que NgRx ou Akita.

Expérience des pipelines CI/CD et des pratiques DevOps.

Connaissance des méthodologies Agile/Scrum.

Expérience d’autres frameworks front-end ou mobiles (React, Vue, Ionic).

 

Expérience des outils de profilage et d’optimisation des performances.

Contributions à des projets open source ou un solide portfolio de projets personnels.

Expérience en gestion de projet ou en mentorat.

 

Lieu de travail privilégié : Montréal – Site client / Hybride.

 

Diplôme : Baccalauréat en informatique, en génie ou expérience pratique équivalente.
