NTT DATA Services currently seeks a IT Security Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, California (US-CA), United States (US).

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day Security Operations (Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Patch Management, Incident Response, Computer Forensics and Malware Analysis)
  • Identify and respond to security threats by conducting continual monitoring, vulnerability assessments and log analysis
  • Ability to articulate engagement testing and results at both the technical and executive levels during government forums
  • Create technical and managerial documentation, topologies and metrics to support these engagements
  • Support security architecture and engineering efforts in an enterprise scale environment
  • Support scripting effort of team to create, improve or automate processes and/or tools

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen and Clearable- Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Prefered 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 6-8 years of combined IT and security work experience including Penetration testing of systems, Vulnerability testing, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, Patch Management, Reverse Engineering and other Security Operations tasks
  • Team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles (IT and business personnel)
  • Strong scripting ability (i.e. Python, Bash, Go)
  • Deep understanding of system internals for OS X, Windows, UNIX, Android or iOS
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to understand security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
  • Knowledge of web application and network exploitation
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to other NASA centers in the U.S.

 

Desired skills:

  • Experience working on a Government contract
  • Experience coding and reviewing JavaScript
  • Linux Forensics and/or Advanced Linux systems administration
  • Cloud Security knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
  • FISMA/NIST/FedRAMP Audit and Assessment
  • CISSP, OSCP, OSCE and GIAC certifications desired
