Actimize UI Developer – Senior Technical Consultant (8+ Years Experience)

8+ years of hands-on Actimize development experience with strong focus on UI customization, solution design, and technical leadership.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Actimize UI Developer – Senior Technical Consultant to lead the design, development, and enhancement of user interfaces across Actimize financial crime solutions, particularly Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) and RCM. This role requires deep expertise in Actimize UI frameworks, strong AML domain knowledge, and the ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions. The candidate will act as a technical advisor, working closely with stakeholders, architects, and compliance teams while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• UI Architecture & Development: Lead design and development of Actimize UI components using Actimize UI frameworks, including SAM and RCM user interfaces.
• Advanced Customization: Customize dashboards, workflows, DART views, alert screens, and case management UIs to enhance investigator efficiency.
• Solution Leadership: Drive end-to-end UI solution design, ensuring alignment with AML regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Actimize Configuration: Perform advanced SAM configuration including rule customization, scenario tuning, OOTB rule validation, and threshold optimization.
• RCM Expertise: Architect and configure RCM components—roles, groups, workflows, queues, alert types, and UI views.
• Integration & Enhancements: Customize Actimize Integrated Solution (AIS) UI components and support EP object visualization and flows.
• Cloud & Deployment Strategy: Lead UI deployments in cloud environments (preferably GCP), ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve UI performance issues; support SAM batch cycles and production stability.
• Mentorship & Review: Mentor technical consultants, perform code reviews, and enforce UI development best practices.
• Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement: Own technical design documentation (HLD, LLD, UI specs) and act as a primary technical point of contact.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of Actimize development experience with significant focus on UI development and customization.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong expertise in AML, SAM, and financial crime compliance processes.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced experience with Actimize SAM and RCM UI customization
• Strong proficiency in Actimize Visual Modeler and Actimize Designer
• UI customization using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, CSS (Actimize UI stack)
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Cloud Exposure: Proven experience deploying Actimize solutions in cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Methodology: Strong experience in Agile/SCRUM delivery models.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
