We are currently seeking a Data project Manager to join our team in Mumbai, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Position Overview The Data Project Manager will lead the data workstream, encompassing reference data (EDMCS), Data Hydration, App-to-App Integrations, Nuveen AUM and Data Conversion initiatives critical to the ERP upgrade's success. This role ensures data readiness across all functional domains within AmpliFi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end project plan for data migration, cleansing, governance, and validation activities.
  • Schedule and facilitate status meetings, domain meetings, steering committee and workshop specific to the Data Domain.
  • Coordinate with functional workstream leads (R2R, S2P, O2C, Enabling Functions) to identify data requirements and dependencies.
  • Manage master data management (MDM) activities, including data standards, ownership, and stewardship models.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, load (ETL) processes and reconciliation activities with technical teams.
  • Track data quality metrics and remediation plans throughout migration cycles (mock loads, dress rehearsals, final cutover).
  • Manage risks and issues related to data readiness, escalating critical blockers to program leadership.

Program-Level Responsibilities (applicable to all six roles):

  • Adhere to AmpliFi program governance, PMO standards, and reporting templates/cadence.
  • Participate in cross-workstream coordination meetings to manage interdependencies.
  • Escalate risks and issues through defined program governance channels.
  • Support overall cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization for assigned domain.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on data migration, MDM, or data governance in ERP implementations.
  • Familiarity with ERP data structures (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data migration tools/methodologies.
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and master data domains (customer, vendor, material, GL).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred; data management certifications (e.g., CDMP) a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience coordinating technical and functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work across time zones with global stakeholders (onshore/offshore coordination).
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
