We are currently seeking a Digital Applications Presales Consultant to join our team in Mumbai, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

  • Hands-on preparation of comprehensive and professional proposal responses including requirements understanding, architecture solution, estimations, plan on a page, delivery methodology, team structure, RAID items
  • Support sales team in their sales efforts and develop opportunities for application services in the digital applications area. This would involve:
    • Giving capability presentations to clients in the digital applications areas
    • Leading high level discovery sessions with client teams to elicit requirements and gather sufficient details to be able to prepare a high level proposal response
    • Reviewing RFQs/RFPs, preparing question logs, attending client Q&A sessions to gather sufficient details to be able to prepare a proposal response
  • Reach out to and liaise with in-house practice teams to understand NTT DATA offerings, case studies and ongoing global engagements
  • Liaise with partners to assess and evaluate their products/capabilities/offerings, form a joint Go-To-Market and manage partners in responding to opportunities
  • Liaise with finance teams and contribute to the commercial model
  • Liaise with resourcing & fulfilment teams to understand current market trends and contribute to the resourcing model
  • Bid management 

Requirements for this role include:

  • Over 15 years of overall experience with atleast 8 years of hands-on experience as Presales solution consultant in the digital applications area
  • Atleast 8 years of experience in presales responding to informal client requests, RFQs, RFPs across development, testing and operations support managed services requirements. This includes writing responses, managing and leading the presales engagement
  • Experience in directly engaging with clients with expertise in removing ambiguities in client requirements, breaking down large requirements into smaller functional/technical components, simplifying solutions whilst balancing cost and effort considerations
  • Experience in leading and driving discussions/meetings/calls, keeping them focussed with the objective of gathering the required information and attaining the desired goals
  • Experience in building client relationships by giving them confidence in our abilities, prompt responses to their requests and ability to perceive their position
  • Experience in engaging at all levels of organizational hierarchy from developers, business analysts, architects, directors, CxOs
  • Very strong communication skills: written for preparing professional proposal responses and verbal for presentations & communications
  • Very strong MS Office skills including Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Relevant certifications desirable
  • Domestic travel involved

Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (09:00am to 06:00pm IST).  The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
