We are currently seeking a Hardware Project Management to join our team in Mumbai, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

         Analysis of the project requirement (hardware, Intel & Sun, HP, IBM, EMC etc.) 

·         Strong Customer relationship building skills. Ability to manage complex Customer problems.

·         Must have strong knowledge of HP Proliant\Blade, Oracle and Dell PowerEdge servers.

·         Co-ordinate with OEM for getting the server hardware spare, network RMA replacement, ISP coordination, PRI related issues etc.

·         Co-ordinate with remote location team for New H/w Installation, Decom, & Disposal

·         Stakeholder mgmt. and coordination.

·         Working on weekly reporting tool and sharing the reports with stakeholders.

·         Overview of hardware and tech room activity 

·         Review for Hardware Failures Trend Analysis 

·         Power Load & Consumption Details 

·         Vendor coordination and project work related coordination.

·         Knowledge of data center environment like power, cooling, humidity

  • Hands-on experience to configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Should have good technical troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
  • Understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model and routing protocols.
  • Should liaise with vendors and regional teams for problem resolution.
  • To ensure all calls are resolved within the agreed SLA, ensuring calls are escalated when required and customers are updated, until the call is resolved and closed. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an authorized university. 
  • Relevant hands-on exp in handling server hardware, network & voice troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 5+ yrs. of overall exp.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of ITIL Framework is a must (SLA, CHG, Problem, and incident mgmt.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high awareness of customer needs.
  • Knowledge on ticketing tool preferrable ServiceNow.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts 24*7 environment.
