Position Overview

TIAA is undertaking AmpliFi, a large-scale ERP transformation program, and is seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to assist in managing the Source to Pay (S2P) workstream. This workstream includes the migration of Strategic Sourcing to Oracle, the replacement of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) system from Coupa to Aravo, and the implementation of a new Zip orchestration layer designed to unify and simplify the end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and payment experience for business users.

This is a highly visible role requiring a proactive self-starter who can manage complex, interdependent workstreams while communicating clearly and confidently with senior TIAA stakeholders, including steering committee members and executive sponsors. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of source-to-pay processes with the polish and presence needed to lead discussions with senior audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the project plan, milestones, RAID log, and deliverables for the S2P workstream, spanning Strategic Sourcing (PeopleSoft), TPRM (Aravo), and the Zip orchestration layer.
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and TPRM teams to define future-state processes, requirements, and system configurations.
  • Coordinate configuration, testing, and validation activities across PeopleSoft Sourcing, Aravo TPRM, and Zip orchestration, ensuring seamless integration and a cohesive end-to-end user experience.
  • Manage vendor master data cleanup, mapping, and migration activities in close coordination with the Data workstream.
  • Proactively identify gaps, dependencies, and risks across the three underlying platforms before they impact timelines, and drive resolution through appropriate program channels.
  • Schedule and facilitate S2P status meetings, domain working sessions, workshops, and steering committee updates.
  • Prepare clear, executive-ready status reports and presentation materials, and confidently present progress, risks, and decisions to senior TIAA leadership and steering committee members.
  • Track, escalate, and drive resolution of risks and issues per program governance standards.
  • Coordinate UAT planning and execution with business process owners across sourcing, AP, and TPRM functions.
  • Support organizational change management, stakeholder communications, and training for S2P end users, ensuring adoption of new processes and the Zip orchestration experience.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in tracking deliverables, documenting decisions, and validating configuration and testing outcomes.

Program-Level Responsibilities (applicable to all six workstream PM roles)

  • Adhere to AmpliFi program governance, PMO standards, and reporting templates/cadence.
  • Participate in cross-workstream coordination meetings to proactively identify and manage interdependencies with other AmpliFi workstreams.
  • Escalate risks and issues through defined program governance channels in a timely manner.
  • Support overall cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization for the S2P domain.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years leading procurement, sourcing, accounts payable, or TPRM transformation initiatives.
  • Direct, hands-on familiarity with at least two of the following: PeopleSoft (Sourcing/Procurement), Coupa, Aravo, Zip, or comparable sourcing, TPRM, or orchestration platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end source-to-pay processes, including strategic sourcing, purchase order creation, three-way matching, invoice-to-pay, and third-party/vendor risk management, ideally within a large international financial services organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-system, multi-stakeholder workstreams with significant interdependencies.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and with authority to senior/executive audiences, including experience preparing and delivering steering committee-level presentations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment across Sourcing, AP, TPRM, Vendor Management, IT, and Data teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business language.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in tracking configuration decisions, testing outcomes, and data migration accuracy across multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work proactively and independently across time zones with global stakeholders (onshore/offshore coordination).
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with ERP transformation programs, particularly upgrades or replacements involving sourcing, procurement, or TPRM systems.
  • Experience with orchestration or workflow layers designed to unify disparate procurement systems into a single user experience.
  • Experience working within regulated financial services environments, with an understanding of associated compliance and audit requirements.
