We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join our team in NASHVILLE, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
The Sr. Technical Lead will play a critical role in supporting the client’s Medicaid Transformation (MT) initiatives and ongoing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) efforts by providing strategic technical and business guidance. The Sr. Technical Lead will work directly with the assigned Project Manager (PM) to provide valuable technical infrastructure and systems analysis services leveraging MMIS and other Medicaid Enterprise Operations Systems across multiple projects. As a valued member of the Business Support Services (BSS) team, the Sr. Technical Lead will work collaboratively with client Information Systems, business leadership, Business Relationship Managers (BRM), PMO staff, and the internal NTT DATA project team, as well as vendor partners to ensure the quality of the business outcomes as well as the proper integration of the MMIS modules during Medicaid Transformation projects.
The Sr. Technical Lead will perform the following responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of the Software Implementation Lifecycle (SILC), including but not limited to requirements definition/validation, design, the review/execution of user acceptance test (UAT) results as well as implementation planning, execution, and operational activities with a focus on ensuring the integration and quality of the client’s data.
- Work collaboratively with the project team (including vendor partners), leveraging Medicaid and Eligibility expertise as well as systems implementation experience, providing quality reviews of project artifacts, collaborating in project meetings/activities and identifying risks and issues across multiple projects to ensure there are no gaps in requirements or functionality.
- Provide oversight of vendor technical estimates, identifying gaps and recommending modifications to ensure transparent scope definition and accurate alignment of effort, resources, and delivery expectations.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with business and vendor partners, enabling effective communication, governance, and successful delivery of IT consulting initiatives.
- Support the analysis of systems and their integration points requiring an in-depth evaluation of complex infrastructure diagrams, system processes, and industry standards.
- Support the conversion of data needed to implement new modules.
- Support the analysis of current business processes including recommendations for improvements.
- Direct project leadership at the client’s request.
- Other duties as assigned by their manager.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience supporting Medicaid projects in the health and human services arena
- A minimum of 12 years' technical analysis experience working on large complex systems implementation and/or enhancement projects
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting MMIS large scale application implementations
- A minimum of 3 years in project/program management
Preferred Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of TennCare system/business processes throughout the enterprise, including eligibility and MMIS
- Strong technical knowledge of the TennCare MMIS interChange system database and structure
- Strong business knowledge of TennCare policy
- Ability to understand and navigate the political and organizational relationships between TennCare agencies
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Collaborator and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can-do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
- Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems
- Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $97,632-155,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
