Overview of job:
This Consulting Manager, as part of the Business Support Services team, will lead a team of consultants responsible for supporting the client’s Compliance and Strategic (C&SF) Funding team.  This Manager will work collaboratively with multiple client business units, client vendor partners, and other information technology stakeholder to achieve quality business outcomes on client projects and initiatives. This position is also responsible for communicating project status, escalating decision points, and obtaining and supporting strategic direction from client C&SF Director, Project Sponsor(s) and Executive Stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities Include:
•    Manage project assignments for a team of consultants responsible for supporting client C&SF processes such as invoice and control letter compliance, requests for enhanced Federal Funding, federal funding tracking and reconciliation, and federal and state budget support. 
•    Manage relationship with the C&SF client.
•    Primary Point of Contact for formal communication and correspondence with the C&SF client.
•    Responsible for determining and hiring the appropriate staffing to support the client needs.
•    Responsible for managing the performance of the team, working with individuals to develop and grow in their career.
•    Responsible for the health and quality of the services provided by the team.
•    Oversee and monitor tools used for documenting C&SF processes, procedures and workflow 
•    Responsible for defining and reviewing business processes for C&SF team, and associated interfaces
•    Participate in and communicate organizational strategy decisions to the team 
•    Communicate project risks and issues to the client and internal executive team members
•    Prepare or contribute to status reports and agendas for weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and bi- monthly status meetings 
•    Develop alternatives for solutions to problems and, where appropriate, assist in implementing improved or new business processes or automated systems
•    Support business growth by expanding the scope of services or expanding the level of services provided.
•    Ensure that all project identified processes and methodologies are followed as applicable
•    Undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their manager

Required Skills:
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
•    Minimum of 10 years of Information Technology Project Management / Leadership experience
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience with Financial and/or Contract Monitoring and Compliance IT Solutions
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience leading in a matrixed and cross functional team environment
•    PMP Certification
•    Ability to work independently and manage work and direct team efforts to a defined scope of work

•    Knowledge of CMS Enhanced Funding requirements 
•    Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment
•    Experience with MMIS and various Contract Compliance funding mechanisms, rules and regulations
