We are currently seeking a Sales Lead - Financial Services to join our team in New York City, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

The Sales Lead for Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Strategic Accounts will create and develop sales opportunities, and lead to closure deal pursuits in the I.T. Services and Consulting arena.  They will establish a business partner relationship within the customers’ Executive Suite across multiple business functions, driving conversations and demonstrate NTT Data Services ability to deliver value and outcome-based solutions across their enterprise. 

This will involve selling the complete portfolio of Applications, BPO, Digital solutions, Infrastructure, Cloud & Security, and related consulting services.  Focus will be on expanding the business footprint in existing strategic NTT Data Services clients in the Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance vertical industries.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Focused within NTT Data’s Strategic Accounts including High Growth and Growth clients to drive new revenue and profits by achieving TCV, In Year Revenue and Gross Margin targets
  • Create and drive specific sales opportunities within assigned client accounts by  demonstrating value and outcome based solutions across a variety of traditional and Digital I.T. Services and value-add industry offerings such as: Process Optimization, Digital Operations, Managed Security Services, Virtual & Digital Workplace Services, Journey to Cloud Applications, Regulatory Compliance, Digital Banking Transformation, Robotic Process Automation, Analytic Services, Customer Centric Banking, BPO, Card & Payment Systems Optimization, and Payment Systems Transformations to name a few
  • Work in tightly coupled collaboration with the account Client Executive who owns the account P&L and overall client satisfaction scores for NTT Data
  • Primary responsibility to leverage the Client Executive’s or Sales Executive’s own relationships to develop specific opportunities and drive the sales cycle to closure.
  • Operate as key partner to the Client Executive to drive the account plan which targets, prioritizes and depicts specific action plans to extend into new buying centers in the accounts
  • Employ an “offerings” focus with a broad approach to leverage all NTT Data assets and capabilities to create unique outcome-based solutions for our clients.
  • Anticipate how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of NTT Data Services and partner with our clients to create unique and value-based relationships with clients

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience selling information technology, intellectual property and consulting related services to both the Business and IT Organizations 
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience selling similar services and intellectual property in a quota measured role for strategic accounts as described in the job responsibilities and specific domain knowledge in either Banking or Insurance as appropriate for the account(s).
  • Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A 3-year recent track record of achieving at least 100% of sales targets including TCV, Revenue or Gross Margin goals
  • Demonstrated success developing trusted executive relationships and expanding base of influence within accounts or assigned business territory within IT and the business
  • Successful methodology/ approach and track record of building 3-times quota targets in qualified pipeline and sustain it over the fiscal or selling year
  • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Able to travel at least 60% of the time or as is necessary to manage a pursuit
