We are currently seeking a Consulting Banking Practice Lead to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
The NTT DATA's Banking Consulting Practice Lead will drive go-to-market activities, brand, and partnerships for the Practice, act as the subject matter expert and thought leadership advocate for NTT DATA. This individual will network with industry leaders, internal Banking sales and client leadership, current clients, and potential clients to understand and communicate current and future trends and provide critical consultation to sales and client leaders engaged in sales pursuits.
Our Banking Consulting practice utilizes a broad range of consulting and advisory services (Bank Modernization, Cards & Payments, Lending, M&A, Risk & Compliance, Solution Delivery, Wealth Management, Digital, Cloud, Data & AI, Workforce Readiness, etc.) to provide customers with innovative and purpose-driven strategies focused on creating value and growth to deliver targeted business outcomes.
Responsibilities Additional Qualifications:
- Develop go-to-market strategy in partnership with NTT DATA Banking and Financial Services vertical and other lines-of-business leaders and lead growth initatives to expand practice footprint within existing NTT DATA Banking customers and new logo opportunities
- Practice oversight for P&L, client relationships and sales pursuits, practice portfolio/offerings, development of assets and intellectual property, brand promotion, and collateral, asset, and community development
- Identify market priorities and provide insight to BFSI sales/client executives, client leadership, and practice engagement leads
- Understand the competitor industry landscape and identify the value proposition, differentiators, brand promotion, and storyline representing capabilities for NTT DATA
- Prioritize practice activities/deliverables to optimize realization of new business pipeline
- Though Leader (blogs, points of view, formal campaigns, etc.) utilizing experience and personal network to provide insight to internal leaders and external clients on NTT DATA Services solutions and offerings
- Participate in webinars, summits, media interviews, etc. representing BFSI Consulting and NTT DATA capabilities
- Attract, promote, and retain a high performing consulting team. Articulate job requirements for targeted resource and practice talent needs
- Act as Practice Subject-Matter-Expert to assist with initial project mobilization and in broader execution to provide expertise, as needed in support of advisory and delivery teams
Requirements:
- 15+ years of Consulting experience managing complex business relationships
- 12+ years of Banking domain experience, spanning people, process and technology with an eye toward business transformation
- 8 years’ experience leading consulting practice or business unit with responsibilities for developing/executing go-to-market strategies, revenues and new business growth targets, expanding client portfolio, and managing delivery operations
- 10 years experience leading client engagements at senior/executive client level focused on delivering value-add offerings (advisory and/or technology) recognized as contributing to targeted business outcome
