We are currently seeking a Core Banking Consulting Director to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY) or Charlotte, North Carolina, United States (US).

How You’ll Help Us: 

As a Director within the FSI Consulting Practice, you will lead client engagements, manage teams, and drive business solutions to help clients achieve their digital, data, and transformational goals. You’ll leverage NTT DATA's global presence to explore opportunities across various industries and potentially in different countries. Your work will involve interacting with top executives from strategic financial institutions, including top U.S. banks, global payment providers, and wealth management firms. A significant aspect of this role is achieving an individual revenue target of $2M annually.

You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding banks through modernization and transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, customer experience, and innovation, driving tangible business outcomes that position banks as leaders in the evolving financial services landscape. 

  

Once You Are Here, You Will:  

  • Manage and oversee large, complex client engagements with a primary focus on achieving an individual revenue target of $2M. 

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive new business opportunities and client engagements to meet or exceed the $2M revenue goal. 

  • Adapt existing processes to develop alternative solutions to complex problems, ensuring they contribute to personal revenue objectives. 

  • Assess business and technology trends, identifying opportunities for integration into client solutions that enhance your revenue potential. 

  • Drive operational processes to support knowledge management objectives, improving program services and client value, contributing to personal revenue growth. 

  • Serve as a pre-sales support specialist, developing materials and presenting complex solutions as a subject matter expert to drive client acquisition and meet revenue goals. 

  • Mentor and develop talent across the organization, ensuring team members are aligned with supporting your revenue goals and objectives. 

  • Design and manage competency-based development and training programs that prepare teams to assist in achieving your individual revenue targets. 

  • Contribute to the development of leading-edge consulting solutions that support your revenue objectives. 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with top executives in targeted companies, focusing on revenue-generating opportunities. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 12+ years experience in the Banking Industry 

  • 8+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry in a project management function 

  • 4+ years of experience in a Management Consulting firm (Big 4 preferred) or client services experience 

  • 2+ years of experience with projects focused on one or more of the following: 

    • Bank modernization 

  • Deposit operations 

    • Card and payments

    • Core financial services 

  • Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures 

  • Proven track record of achieving significant individual revenue targets in previous roles

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $188,000-$375,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.  This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
