NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to join our team in Newport News, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).



Demonstrated experience in all CM processes, including product and documentation release, bill of materials, change request and design change.
Demonstrated experience managing hardware and software product configurations throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Working knowledge of engineering and design principles.
Experience with engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Need to possess strong technical administrative skills necessary to manage CM tools

Responsible for the creation, edit, maintenance and validation of content and articles located in pre-production (various databases, file share locations, hard copy, etc.) and production of the Knowledge Management environment.
Create various documents, presentations, technical materials, guides and work flows used internally to support the production environment.
Review content and articles submitted by internal stakeholders for accuracy; validate prior to upload into production.
Complete/provide daily, weekly, monthly content and article reviews.
Work with training department to articulate technical materials needed to create user documentation, training guides and various reference sheets.
Secondary Responsibilities include:
Provide backup support to the Knowledge Management Analytics and Reporting Analyst, in performing gap analysis and assessments of identified trends and generating standard reports.
Provide backup support to the Knowledge Management Administrator in managing application accounts (moves/adds/changes).
General Responsibilities:
Establish strong business relationships with internal business units, including MIS and external vendors and partners.
Participate in short-term projects and deployment activities.
Work with key internal and external stakeholders in assisting in defining and properly structuring knowledge information and articles.
Write, revise, source, manage, catalogue and aggregate content and articles.
Leverage reporting and analytics to assist in the development of a continuous improvement framework around borrowers, agents, clients, tools and processes.
Analyze existing processes, systems, and historical data to determine ways to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge management information, reporting tools and dashboards.
Proactively recommend new metrics and studies to quantify the value of different aspects of content, through analysis of knowledge management information, tools, processes and content, to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Participate in Knowledge Management Committee and Knowledge Governance Committee meetings and activities.
Participate in local Knowledge Management, call center and application users groups, as a means of constant learning.
Customer Service/Interaction:
Ensure Knowledge Management processes are understood and being adhered to.
Provide input on pre-published knowledge information prior to uploading into the production environment.
Produce reports and recommend changes to enhance structure and content of knowledge information, articles, processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.




Minimum 4 years of relevant IT experience
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Current Security + Certification Required  
Active Secret Clearance
