Application Support and Maintenance - Healthcare Provider(Data Analytics and Middleware)

Responsibilities:

• Incident & Problem Management: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents for COTS healthcare applications, ensuring timely restoration of services and adherence to SLAs; perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.

• Application Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor application health, interfaces, and batch jobs; perform regular maintenance, patch validation, and upgrades in coordination with vendors and internal teams.

• Change & Release Support: Assess, implement, and validate application changes (configurations, patches, upgrades) through controlled release processes, including impact analysis and rollback planning.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution, enhancements, and escalations, particularly for regulated healthcare workflows.

• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and audit documentation; ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), security standards, and data privacy requirements

Skillset Description-

Skilled in healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR.

Proficient in API-based integrations across diverse enterprise systems.

Hands-on troubleshooting of interface queues delayed or failed message transmissions, and middleware monitoring tools.

Expertise in workflow automation including job scheduling, batch processing, and interface orchestration.

Ability to design and maintain integration workflows ensuring reliability and scalability.

Experienced in supporting SFTP connections, managing digital certificates, and enforcing security policies for system-to-system communication.

Knowledge of secure transport protocols and compliance requirements for healthcare and enterprise integrations.

Proactive in identifying bottlenecks, optimizing throughput, and ensuring high availability of middleware platforms.

Experience working with Middleware system like – Centriq, Mirth Connect, Practice Fusion & any other similar systems.
