Job Title: Business Consultant – Java Spring Boot Developer

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant – Java Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases, with experience building secure, high-performance backend solutions in Agile environments.

Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Integrate applications with databases and internal/external systems.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting activities.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Support production deployments, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and software engineering best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java application development.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java 11/17 or later.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
