Job Description – Consultant (Strategy & Market Research)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Consultant to support business growth through market research, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and high-impact presentations. The role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to generate insights, develop strategies, and drive execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to understand market trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape
  • Analyze data to generate actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Develop industry reports, benchmarking studies, and opportunity assessments

2. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Support development of GTM strategies including market entry, product positioning, and pricing
  • Identify target segments, value propositions, and channel strategies
  • Assist in building business cases and growth roadmaps

3. Presentation & Storytelling

  • Create high-quality client presentations (PPTs) with clear, structured storytelling
  • Translate complex data into simple, impactful narratives for senior stakeholders
  • Support client meetings, workshops, and executive discussions

4. Problem Solving & Analysis

  • Break down business problems using structured frameworks
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations
  • Build financial models, scenarios, and impact assessments (as required)

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution
  • Ensure timely delivery and high-quality outputs

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of experience in consulting, market research, strategy, or business analysis roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling skills
  • Experience in market research and GTM strategy development
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting firms or high-growth startups
  • MBA or equivalent qualification
  • Exposure to multiple industries (e.g., BFSI, Retail, Supply Chain, Tech)
