We are currently seeking a IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Role Summary:

The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate asset and configuration data within ServiceNow, ensuring data integrity across the asset lifecycle, and supporting IT operations with reliable CI information. The role plays a key part in compliance, audits, discovery validation, and collaboration with procurement and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Record Maintenance — Update, reconcile, and validate asset records in ServiceNow to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Discovery Scan Management — Run daily/weekly discovery scans and validate discovered CI results for correctness.
  • CMDB Data Quality — Review, correct, and enhance CMDB data quality, including completeness and consistency.
  • Asset Lifecycle Processing — Process new asset requests, updates, transfers, and retirements.
  • Compliance & Utilization Reporting — Generate compliance, utilization, and audit‑ready reports for stakeholders.
  • Operational Support — Provide accurate CI and asset data to support change, incident, and problem management.
  • Audit Participation — Participate in internal/external audits and provide evidence of asset and CMDB accuracy.
  • Procurement & Vendor Collaboration — Work with procurement teams and vendors to maintain up‑to‑date asset lifecycle information.

Must‑Have Skills

  • ServiceNow Asset Management — Strong hands‑on experience updating and reconciling asset and CI records.
  • Discovery & CI Validation — Ability to run and validate discovery scans and interpret CI data.
  • CMDB Data Governance — Understanding of CMDB structure, CI attributes, and data quality principles.
  • Reporting & Compliance — Experience generating compliance, utilization, and audit reports.
  • Lifecycle Management — Knowledge of asset onboarding, updates, and retirement processes.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Ability to work with IT operations, procurement, and vendor teams.
  • Attention to Detail — Strong focus on accuracy, data integrity, and documentation.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

  • ServiceNow CMDB Knowledge — Understanding of CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation.
  • ITIL Foundation — Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem).
  • Basic Scripting — Exposure to JavaScript or ServiceNow scripting for automation.
  • Software Asset Management — Understanding of license compliance and software asset lifecycle.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in IT Asset Management, CMDB operations, or related ServiceNow roles.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
