Stibo Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stibo MDM Developer to design, develop, implement, and support Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Stibo Systems STEP platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and integration teams to deliver high-quality product, customer, supplier, and reference data management solutions. The role involves configuration, customization, data modeling, workflow development, integrations, and production support activities.
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
- Design, develop, and configure solutions on the Stibo STEP MDM platform.
- Create and maintain data models, classifications, workflows, business rules, and validation rules.
- Develop customizations using JavaScript and Java-based APIs within Stibo STEP.
- Perform data analysis, cleansing, enrichment, and governance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, data quality issues, and system performance concerns.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data stewards to gather and refine requirements.
- Build and support inbound/outbound integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, eCommerce, and third-party systems.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
- Monitor MDM processes and ensure platform stability and data accuracy.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Stibo Systems STEP MDM solutions across Product, Customer, Supplier, or Reference Data domains.
- At least 4+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, including data governance, data quality management, data stewardship, and master data lifecycle management.
- Experience in designing and configuring data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, classifications, attributes, and business rules within the Stibo STEP platform.
- 2+ years of experience developing and customizing workflows, validation rules, event processors, and business processes using Stibo STEP capabilities.
- Experience developing integrations between Stibo MDM and enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, ERP, CRM, eCommerce platforms, and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- At least 3+ years of development experience in Java and JavaScript, including customization, scripting, and API-based development within the Stibo ecosystem.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, including SQL query development, data validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, development, testing, and release management activities.
- Experience in performing data migration, data cleansing, data enrichment, and data synchronization activities as part of MDM implementation projects.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, performance tuning, and providing ongoing application support for MDM solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps tools, source code management, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Certification (Atleast 1 Stibo Certification Mandatory)-
- Stibo Systems STEP Technical Certification
- Stibo STEP Solution Developer Certification
- Stibo STEP Advanced Developer Certification
Nice to Have; (But not a must)
- Experience implementing Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.
- Experience working with Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Healthcare domains.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and MDM best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Azure Integration Services Certifications (Preferred)
- Agile Scrum Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
