We are currently seeking a Pega BPM -BY SCPO Developer to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Job Description – Senior Pega Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade business process management (BPM) solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Pega PRPC application development, case management, integrations, and workflow automation across complex enterprise environments. Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Telecommunications sectors is highly desirable.

The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Pega applications while adhering to Pega guardrails and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC).

  • Translate business requirements into scalable BPM and Case Management solutions.

  • Configure and customize:

    • Case Types and Case Management

    • Flows, Screen Flows, Flow Actions, and Assignments

    • Data Pages

    • Decision Rules

    • Data Transforms

    • Activities

    • Declarative Rules and Expressions

  • Design and implement user portals, Operator IDs, Access Groups, and role-based security.

  • Develop integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP web services, file-based interfaces, and email integration.

  • Configure and support Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, File Listeners, Service Packages, and Service File rules.

  • Implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs), routing logic, work queues, and business rules.

  • Develop reports and dashboards using Report Definitions to support operational and business reporting.

  • Troubleshoot application issues using Pega diagnostic tools including Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, and other debugging utilities.

  • Perform defect analysis, root cause investigation, bug fixing, and production support activities.

  • Ensure applications comply with Pega Guardrails and follow established development standards and best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and deployment activities.

  • Work collaboratively within Agile Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation.

  • Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, integration documents, and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications on the Pega Platform.

  • Strong experience implementing BPM and Case Management solutions using Pega PRPC.

  • Proven experience with:

    • Flows and Case Lifecycle Management

    • Data Pages

    • Activities

    • Data Transforms

    • Decision Rules

    • Declarative Rules

    • Report Definitions

    • Queue Processors

    • Job Schedulers

    • File Listeners

    • Service Packages

  • Experience integrating Pega with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, file-based interfaces, and email services.

  • Strong understanding of Pega security including Operator IDs, Access Groups, and application portals.

  • Experience implementing Pega Guardrails and following development best practices.

  • Hands-on experience debugging applications using Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, and other Pega diagnostic tools.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Pega solutions within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Telecommunications industries.

  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architecture.

  • Experience with application deployment, performance tuning, and production support.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools.

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification preferred.

  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is highly desirable.
