Role Responsibilities – Business Process Transitions/Project management

Manage end-to-end delivery of large/Medium-scale transition projects across multiple towers and geographies. Ensure delivery of project outcomes within defined time, cost, and quality parameters. Oversee complex knowledge transfer processes with robust quality checks and governance. A transition manager's role will be to oversee and manage projects or end to end processes as they move from one stage to another, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover with minimal disruption. Key responsibilities include developing detailed transition plans, coordinating with various departments and stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with policies. They act as a primary point of contact, communicate status updates, and conduct post-transition reviews to identify areas for improvement. 

Coordinating any major transitions within the company, such as financial, technological, operational, and governance changes. Analyzing any internal requests for changes and consulting with management to deny or approve the proposed changes.

Flexible to work in UK/US or overlap shifts.

Core responsibilities – Business Process transitions, experience in managing transformation/automation projects will be an extra skill. (NO Scrum Masters)

  • Project planning: Develop detailed plans, timelines, and budgets for transitions, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordination and communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and other departments to ensure seamless execution. Manage and escalate issues as needed.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Stakeholder management: Communicate status updates, conduct governance calls, and manage the relationship with internal teams and external clients.
  • Process and quality assurance: Ensure teams follow standard operating procedures, support the creation of documentation, and conduct post-transition reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Change management: Coordinate and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring everything is delivered according to specifications

Skillset-

  • Ability to work with international stakeholders – UK, US, Spain, South Africa and more including India.
  • Individuals have a deep understanding of their own subject area and a broad understanding of related subject areas.
  • They handle diverse issues and lead projects that contribute to the company's
  • Manages a broad, complex portfolio of projects.
  • Projects will have large teams and will be globally dispersed, both with IT and business employees.
  • The projects and programs usually have global impact and have complex business and technical challenges.
  • Defines program value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for global programs.
  • Viewed internally as a project management expert.
  • Monitors project performance in the Project Reporting System.
  • Conducts PM Metrics and Practices Reviews.
  • Facilitates Peer Project Reviews and Management Project Reviews.
  • Supports PM Help Desk.

 

Requirements:

  • Typically requires 8-10 years relevant experience in Banking/Healthcare/Insurance.
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years of experience in Projected Program Management.
  • I prefer to have MS Project, Copilot experience & Exceptional written skills to document RAID items & Improvement plans.
  • Experience in handling international projects (Multi Geo)
  • Mandatory to have certification in Prince 2 or PMP
  • Exceptional understanding of BPO Project.
  • Management principles and techniques.
  • Exceptionally expert proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company’s project management information system.
  • Exceptional ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.
  • Exceptional ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance.
  • Exceptional capability at providing effective performance reporting for the client and company in order to monitor the progress of the project.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to lead global project teams of large scope and high complexity.
  • Shift Timing (UK/US).
