We are currently seeking a Senior Workday Integration Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Senior Workday Integration Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Integration Specialist to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide Workday integrations across HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workday integration technologies, enterprise architecture, middleware platforms, data transformation, security, and cloud integration best practices. This role will partner with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions that support global HR and digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Solution Design

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end Workday integration solutions.
  • Define integration frameworks, standards, governance, and best practices for enterprise deployments.
  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design real-time, event-driven, batch, and API-based integrations between Workday and external systems.
  • Workday Integration Certification
  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, Workday Extend integrations, Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) and Workday Messaging and Event Framework
  • Build complex inbound and outbound interfaces for employee, payroll, benefits, recruiting, talent, learning, and finance data exchanges.
  • Develop reusable integration components and accelerators.
  • Implement secure file transfers, API management, web services, and message-based integrations.
  • Support hybrid cloud and multi-system integration landscapes.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement Workday security best practices for integrations, APIs, and service accounts.
  • Configure and maintain authentication mechanisms including OAuth, SAML, certificates, and encryption protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and organizational security standards.
  • Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for integration solutions.

Testing & Release Management

  • Lead unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Develop test strategies, test cases, and integration validation frameworks.
  • Support Workday bi-annual releases by performing impact assessments and remediation activities.
  • Manage deployment processes across tenant environments.

Production Support & Optimization

  • Provide Level 3 support for integration issues and critical production incidents.
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively address failures and bottlenecks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Optimize integration architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to align integration solutions with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
  • Mentor junior integration consultants and developers.
  • Support pre-sales, solution demonstrations, estimations, and project planning activities.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise integration experience and 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration development and architecture experience.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Workday implementations.
  • Experience supporting global and multi-country Workday deployments.
  • Strong experience with complex payroll, benefits, recruiting, talent, and finance integrations.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from the office 5 days a week.
  • Must be able to work from Bengaluru, Noida, or Hyderabad.
  • Flexibility to support business-critical activities, including financial close cycles, production deployments, and system upgrades outside regular business hours when required.
