We are currently seeking a Software Dev. Sr. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Job Title: AWS Redshift Datalake engineer

Client business problem:

You’ll have an opportunity to work with Data team and help the team solve some very interesting problems who will create and maintain scalable data pipelines dealing with petabytes of data. All our projects entail working on cutting edge technologies, petabyte scale data processing systems, data warehouses and data lakes to help manage the ever-growing information needs of our customers.

Must have skills: (total exp 10yrs +)

• 5+ years of handson experience in AWS Redshift (Data Loading experience mandatory into Redshift), with ETL experience
• Data Modelling and SQL stored procedures
• Python (basic knowledge)
• JSON files manipulation
• Experience working in agile teams
• Nice to have skills but not critical or necessary: Airflow; Kafka (or message queues in general); Tabelau

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily scrum meetings
• Participate in design and development activities
• Provide expert advice in resolving technical bottlenecks and making efficient workflows, processes
• Implement POCs resolving the technical debts, in quick timelines and provide demos to the project team
• Mentor the team to scale up AWS knowledge

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
