We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with over 6 years of experience in API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in REST Assured, Java and Python scripting, and familiarity with various API testing tools. Experience in the US health insurance domain is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts using REST Assured, Java, and Python.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand API specifications and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Maintain and enhance the API test automation framework.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software QA with a strong focus on API testing.
• Proficiency in REST Assured for automated API testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Familiarity with test management tools like HP ALM and Agile project tracking tools like Jira.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the US health insurance domain (e.g., Membership, claims processing, eligibility, benefits).
• Knowledge of HL7, EDI, or other healthcare data standards.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
