We are currently seeking a Telehealth Program Director to join our team in Northern, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

We are seeking an individual to join our healthcare team for a large federal healthcare program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills in a leadership capacity.

You will lead an experienced management team responsible for ensuring the delivery of customer focused 24/7 telehealth and clinical call support. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a large telehealth program, including identifying and maintaining the necessary resources and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of program performance.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent will provide oversight of performance across the entire program, to include the following responsibilities:

  • Serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters and provides day-to-day guidance and leadership as appropriate to the management team.
  • Ensures proper application of program management best practices and activities; proper planning and assignment of resources to meet service delivery requirements;
  • Raises concerns and risks for discussion with Government leaders, the COR, the CO, and/or company leadership;
  • Recommends corrective fixes for the concerns/risks being discussed, and execute Government-approved plans to mitigate or resolve the concern/risk; plan for subsequent phases of work;
  • Manages relationships when dealing with Contractors partners, vendors, and sub-Contractors;
  • Overseeing fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.  Consolidates and approves reporting on contract funding, burn rates, and major tasks/efforts/initiatives;
  • Ensures project/programs are defined, tracked, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, and incorporates effective change and risk management controls.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 18+  years of successful Program/Project Management and/or leadership experience as a DoD or Federal Employee, with experience in the following:
    • 15+  years of experience leading programs / projects in the healthcare, telehealth, or clinical space
    • 15+  years of experience interacting with Federal Customers frequently and comfortable acting as the NTT liaison with that customer
  • Minimum 7 years of leadership/management experience
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • There are 2 possible locations for this role: Northern VA and/or San Antonio, TX
    • Up to 20% travel to either location is required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program or Project Management Certification like the PMP or PgMP a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive efforts to achieve contractual objectives and organizational goals
  • Experience as either a Federal Employee or a contractor supporting the DoD, DHA, or VA is a plus
  • Experience leading programs with a telehealth call center, help desk, or clinical service desk is a plus
