We are currently seeking a Azure Architect - (Remote) to join our team in PLANO, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Architect to join our dynamic team. The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security, performance, and scalability. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, and a proven track record in architecting complex cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Architecture:
• Develop and design Azure-based solutions to meet the business requirements.
• Create architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet best practices.
• Implementation:
• Lead the implementation of Azure solutions, including virtual networks, virtual machines, databases, and other services.
• Oversee the migration of existing on-premises applications to Azure.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes using ARM templates, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Management and Optimization:
• Manage and monitor Azure resources to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain cost management and optimization strategies.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place.
• Security and Compliance:
• Design and implement security measures to protect data and applications.
• Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with development teams, providing guidance and support for Azure-related projects.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers to develop comprehensive solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure environments.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with the latest Azure services, technologies, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in architecture and processes.
• Mentor and train junior team members on Azure technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
