NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Clinical Imaging PACS Systems Administrator to join our team in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Role Responsibilities

-Performs installation, customization and maintenance of the PACS Imaging systems in support of business processing requirements

-Evaluates and integrates new operating system versions, drivers and hardware

-Provides technical expertise for system transitions, migrations and consolidations

-Tests software updates and patches

-Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-tiered environments

-Conducts system analysis, configuration management and develops improvements for system software performance, availability and reliability

-Performs incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements

-Designs, develops, recommends and implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes as necessary

-Provides in-depth diagnosis for operating systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions

-Ensures server data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions

-Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components

-Implements appropriate levels of system security

 

Requirements

-Undergraduate degree and 4 years relevant experience or equivalent as a GE or McKesson PACS or CPACS Systems Administrator

-Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, and experience incorporating business needs into image system design and support Clinical Information Systems environment

-4 years of experience with Clinical Image/ Picture Archival Management Systems

-3 years of progressively responsible work experience as a PACS Systems Administrator or equivalent

-Proven ability to fully use and apply standards principles, theories and concepts related to technical discipline

-3 years of experience with clinical, hospital and / or financial applications and / or systems.

 

Preferences

-Knowledge of the following technologies preferred: DICOM, HL7, image brokers, familiarity with diagnostic image modalities, (Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, DEXA Scan, Diagnostic X-Ray, and Ultrasound), operating systems and server technologies, EMC storage equipment, media libraries, Cisco data switching, TCPIP, routing and switching, and clinical radiology experience
