We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona (US-AZ), United States (US).

Overview of job:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing Program Integrity support for a state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of the team manager, they will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables.  In collaboration with other NTT DATA consultants, the selected candidate will work directly with state business staff and vendors to support the analysis of claims and state policy to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and understand state Medicaid policy
  • Interface with state business users
  • Perform clinical analysis of claims data against policy and/or suspicious behavior   
  • Identify and report project issues and risks
  • Research and provide recommendations to the client on claims edit changes to support policy
  • Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance
  • Develop and present formal presentations to business leaders and team members, making applicable recommendations
  • Participate and/or lead in the creation of presentations and other materials for end user training

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience evaluating criteria and guidelines in determining eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting large, complex Medicaid system implementation projects and/or Medicaid business operations
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting Program Integrity and Utilization Review
  • Undergraduate degree or 8 years additional relevant experience
  • 2+ years of leveraging clinical experience and knowledge to support program integrity and utilization review

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working within Federal and State regulations
  • Experience working in utilization management for healthcare
  • Experience working with Milliman Guidelines

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $68,904 to $105,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
