NTT DATA Services currently seeks a ServiceNow Platform Owner/Program Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).



The desired individual will stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies. They will ensure effective communication and coordination of problem-solving efforts between ITSM strategy, design, development, support and account teams including Service Management and customers and ensure adherence to existing ITSM standard practices and direct the ITSM tools and processes towards continuous improvement


Job Duties:

• Provides milestone-based oversight to all development activities and release cycles of all products, and features associated with the product roadmap
• Works with varying teams to gather requirements to be used in the formulation of client's ServiceNow platform vision, strategy and roadmap
• Define and prioritize ServiceNow enterprise-wide expansion efforts within all areas of the business
• Manage all development and administrative efforts to define, design, accept, adapt, and support features
• Gather information and requirements, set and track the most relevant metrics to a product, track past projects, and identify new ways to optimize them
• Lead, support, and/or participate in the creation of Services release plans and schedules
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases
• Identify and minimize external program execution risks across key areas of the business
• Experience in leading, organizing and managing product launch initiatives leveraging a structured product development methodology
• Expertise and success in leveraging agile based software development to drive iterative product launches
• Strategic and holistic approaches to problem-solving that balance and prioritize short-term solutions with long-term vision
• Provides thought leadership regarding optimal utilization of the ServiceNow platform and best practices for development
• Designs and implements processes in ServiceNow, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Portal, and ITOM
• Aligns ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap
• Provides architectural controls and analysis of impacts for new requirements
• Identifies opportunities to combine similar solution needs or consolidate existing platforms into the ServiceNow ecosystem
• Provides leadership and participates in vetting new requirements on the ServiceNow platform
• Under general direction, identifies group level challenges, recommends and executes solutions. Solves considerably difficult business problems through both effective use of financial and technology management while leveraging human resource management.
• Coordinate with offshore technical lead to ensure designs meet development guidelines and best practices

Basic Requirements:

• ServiceNow Administrator Certification

• Minimum of 3 years Managing ServiceNow Development Team
• Minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similarly complex technical organization

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable


Preferred Skills:

• ITIL Foundations V3 certification
• Certified ServiceNow Developer Certification
• Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
• Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
• Ability to problem solve and work well in complex, ambiguous situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups
