NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Cloud Native Specialty Sales Executive to join our team. 

 

The Specialty Sales Executive will be able to carry on cloud transformational and strategic conversations with senior level executives covering concepts such as Cloud adoption, platform management, agile/DevOps, continuous integration, microservices, and containers.  The individual will be able to assess and qualify every potential sales opportunity and develop value propositions and maintain qualified pipeline of opportunities.  In addition, the individual can be self-managed and directed to execute cold call campaigns, prospect and aggressively sell to prospects NTT’s offering portfolio in Cloud Transformation services.  The goal is to develop and earn ‘trusted advisor’ status with our clients, demonstrated by providing valuable advice that pairs the technical solution to the client's business and specific industry.

 

The Specialty Sales Executive will work closely with NTT DATA Services’ sales leadership to support cloud opportunities for new and existing clients. The verticals will include commercial, manufacturing, financial services and insurance, healthcare and life sciences industries and public sector.  The success of the role is measured by overall Cloud transformation and Digital platform business growth.

This is a remote position.  Travel is required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of customer’s decision-making process, goals, objectives and strategies
  • Ability to assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions
  • Provide technology perspective on industry trends, competitive landscape and market/regulatory changes leveraging industry contacts, vendors, and strategic technology partner relationships
  • Provide thought leadership covering Cloud-native concepts such as CI/CD, Agile/DevOps frameworks, micro services and infrastructure as code.
  • Lead conversations with C and VP level client executives on cloud strategy and transformation
  • Review key cloud proposals for technical integrity, quantification of risk, and strategic direction prior to presentation to client.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 Years experiences in field sales role selling IT services.
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud native development, cloud migration, cloud platform and configuration management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance programs including, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI, NIST 800-53 and GDPR
