We are currently seeking a Competitive Pricing Architect to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Overview: NTT DATA is seeking a Competitive Pricing Architect for its Strategic Pursuits Team.  This role oversees pricing for complex, multi-tower pursuits across the North American services business.  These deals will include both services and technology motions and the Pricing Architect will ideally have deep expertise in both areas.  This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and internal financial metrics to ensure our proposals are competitive, profitable, and aligned with both market conditions and internal hurdle rates. This requires coordination across the breadth of NTT Data’s portfolio and holding internal standards against aggressive commercial deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and review pricing for complex technology services proposals, ensuring alignment with market trends and company goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operational teams to develop and refine pricing strategies and proposals.
  • Provide expert guidance on pricing structures, discounting strategies, and contract terms to ensure proposals are competitive and profitable.
  • Benchmark company pricing against competitors and industry standards to ensure alignment with market expectations.
  • Develop and implement pricing models and strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, legal, and operations to gather input and ensure alignment on pricing decisions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing analysis, trends, and recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Batchelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in deal review / approval roles in sales organization, preferably in the IT services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with NTTD sales suite, processes, and analytical tools.  Familiarity with pricing best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
