We are currently seeking a Corporate Compliance Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for the effective implementation and oversight of the NTT DATA North America Risk & Compliance framework and policies across the business.

1.    Key Responsibilities
•    Operational Risk Management
o    Embed NTT’s Risk Management framework, policies, processes, and standards.
o    Define and document local variations/translations to NTT’s Risk Management framework.
o    Facilitate risk management training and awareness.
o    Act as a key point of contact on risk-related matters.
o    Identify, document, and assess risks; develop strategies to manage or mitigate them.
o    Assess identified risks and monitor mitigation actions.
o    Conduct risk workshops, risk reporting and monitoring across key areas of the business
o    Monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness of Risk Management initiatives.
o    Support the development and implementation of local control frameworks to mitigate risks.
o    Prepare risk reporting to North America Risk and Compliance Committees.

•    Compliance:
o    Embed NTT’s Compliance policies, processes, and standards.
o    Monitor regulatory compliance changes impacting the business and assist with the development of measures to ensure compliance 
o    Ensure completion of mandatory compliance training.
o    Engage with Management to report control and process failures.
o    Assist in resolving compliance issues through effective implementation of internal controls.
o    Monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness of compliance controls. 
o    Ensure compliance risks are escalated appropriately.
o    Assist in the development and completion of compliance risks assessments
o    Ensure compliance with Whistleblowing policies and procedures

•    Third Party Risk Management (TPRM):
o    Champion and embed NTT’s TPRM framework, policies, processes, and standards.
o    Ensure risks identified through TPRM are escalated appropriately.
o    Partner with stakeholders on procurement and sourcing Human Right and risk monitoring activities.
o    Support the development and implementation of local control frameworks to mitigate risks

•    Business Continuity Management (BCM):
o    Champion and embed NTT’s BCM framework, policies, processes, and standards.
o    Guide and support the adoption and implementation of an effective BCM program.
o    Support the development and implementation of local control frameworks to mitigate risks.

•    International Trade Compliance (ITC):
o    Champion and embed NTT’s ITC Program framework, policies, processes, and standards.
o    Define and document local variations/translations to NTT’s ITC framework.
o    Support and partner with business stakeholders for compliance with trade regulations.
o    Ensure non-compliance instances are escalated appropriately.
o    Support the development and implementation of local control frameworks to mitigate risks.


•    Leadership and Strategic Oversight 
o    Should be able to effectively interact and collaborate with Sr. Leaders through the organization.
o    The leader will also be accountable for driving continuous improvement.
o    Oversees the implementation and monitoring of highly complex, innovative, and cost-effective Risk & Compliance frameworks.
o    Provides strategic direction and oversight in developing team capabilities and achieving operational objectives and successfully delivering on business commitments.

2.    Mandatory Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience 
•    Build relationships; participate in regular governance or steering committee meetings to proactively assess and mitigate risks and issues; drive frequent meetings with appropriate groups to improve risk management and compliance; share information on trends best practices etc. to ensure success.
•    Internal Stakeholders: Identify key stakeholders (decision makers / influencers) etc. from the business; leverage multiple formal and informal connects to build mutually beneficial relationships; drive improvements through multiple avenues and networking with the right stakeholders to build support on escalating issues to executive management on a need basis.
•    At least 5+ years of experience in Risk & Compliance and/or Data Privacy  
•    3+ years of experience in large multinational matrixed organizations

•    Ability to take ownership for key programs timelines, deliverables, and metrics.
•    Ability to multitask and react in a fast-paced organization.
•    Excellent relationship building, and escalation management skills.
•    Articulate sophisticated information and business insights into meaningful action items and problem- solving decisions for senior leadership.
•    Ability to develop comprehensive and complex operational and strategic plans.

 

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years experience in policies, framework and standards

-3 years third party risk management-procurement

- 3 years Global Compliance and Risk experience
