We are currently seeking a Corporate Tax Director to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

OVERVIEW
The Corporate Tax Director will be primarily responsible for the research, development, modeling, and documentation of corporate tax strategies, designed to mitigate tax risk as well as improve and maintain an efficient global tax structure that is aligned with the company’s strategic short term and long-term financial and operating objectives.   Additional responsibilities will include supporting the US Domestic and International Tax Directors, providing tax management and review of global tax compliance and financial reporting, mentoring and developing our tax team, and partnering with the business teams, business development, legal, and finance to develop strong working relationships and assist with various corporate tax and finance projects.  The Corporate Tax Director will report to the Vice President – Tax.

Location:  Remote within in the US

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Lead a wide variety of tax planning and research projects, with a focus on M&A, acquisition strategies, including internal restructuring and integration, legal entity rationalization, effective tax rate, cash repatriation and cash tax planning.
•    Assist in the development and implementation of global tax strategies to support the tax department and organizational goals and objectives.
•    Characterize and document the US Federal income tax treatment of global transactions, including identification of appropriate elections, disclosures, statements to be included with the Company’s US federal income tax return.
•    Collaborate with the internal tax team and service providers, in a tax management and review capacity, ensuring accurate tax related financial reporting (in accordance with IFRS standards) and global tax compliance reporting, inclusive of tax planning efforts.  As well as meeting all statutory tax compliance and financial reporting deadlines.
•    Support the management and review of all US Domestic and US International tax reporting, as well as other local non-US reporting as needed.
•    Be a key advisor to the Company’s US and non-US subsidiaries.
•    Develop and maintain strong partnerships with other functions including Finance and FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, and Legal.  
•    Monitor tax legislation and regulatory activities; Communicate possible implications to various company-wide stakeholders.
•    Training, develop, and mentor tax team members.

Desired Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
•    CPA and Masters of Taxation or LLM in Tax are preferred
•    15+ years’ experience in large corporate tax environments, mix of industry and public accounting preferred
•    Knowledge of accounting principles, corporate tax law and Microsoft Office suite of applications
•    The ability to manage multiple, large projects/processes 
•    Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
•    Detail oriented; strong research and analytical skills
•    Excellent presentation, communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills; solid team player 
•    Strong ability to establish interpersonal relationships with all levels in a multicultural environment 

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• 15+ years’ experience in large corporate tax environments working across multiple industries
