We are currently seeking a Deputy Agile Strategist to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The Deputy Agile Transformation Strategist should be persuasive, politically aware, highly driven, and possess the seriousness to influence other leaders and executives. They’ll need a high EQ, strong communication skills, and an unflappable tolerance for stress and uncertainty and the ability to work in the gray at times. Lastly, the role of the Deputy Strategist demands that this person have a system that helps companies design and implement an effective Value Based - Agile transformation for their business

The Deputy Strategist is the liaison that takes the Agile Strategy and focuses on making it happen. This role works at enabling the alignment between the implementation and transformation activities in order to achieve the organizational goals. They will take a systematic view of organizations and have strong problem-solving and solution design skills.

Provides Agile related expertise and leadership to support clients. This includes:

  • Creating and getting executive buy in on value driven strategies leveraging agility
  • Influence executives, leaders, business units, and technology teams on Agile principles, values, how to build, grow, and maintain a thriving agile organization at scale
  • Works with senior leadership within the business and technology portfolio and programs to identify opportunities to support and sustain the agile transformation and provide business value to our clients
  • Provides Agile, Value Stream Management, DevOps related expertise and leadership to support clients. This includes the abilities to --- Influence executives, leaders, business units, and technology teams on Agile principles, values, how to build, grow, and maintain a thriving agile organization at scale

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
  • 5+ years SAFe experience working with ART at the team and program levels
  • 10+ years working in an agile environment
  • 5+ years' experience as an Agile coach involved in large-scale Agile transformations


Nice to Have:

  • Spanish Speakers a big plus
  • Advanced knowledge of agile theory, methodology including scaling -, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, product management, planning, forecasting, conflict resolution, coaching / leverage models, capacity and capability building and facilitation
  • Ability to establish goals and objectives that support the strategic plan and delivery execution for multiple and/or scaled teams
  • Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of product initiatives
  • Advanced skill in mentoring, coaching, listening, providing feedback and performance management
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office and industry standard Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to all levels and types of stakeholders (i.e. business, technology, sponsors and control functions)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Has previously launched ARTs
  • Experience Coaching Product Managers and Product Owners


Education and Certification Requirements

  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree; MBA Preferred
  • Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC) and / or equivalent certifications



  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50%
