Director, SAP Pre-Sales – AMS (Application Management Support)

NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Director of SAP Pre-Sales for SAP AMS opportunities.  This person can be located anywhere in the US but must be close to an airport.  Travel to client sites is required.  Travel could be up to 40%.   Join our Value Engineering team within the SAP group to focus on pre-sales for SAP AMS opportunities

 

Team player with excellent communication skills. Experience as a hands-on pre-sales consultant with ability to sell and develop design-solution and work as a SME of SAP Application Management Support services.  This person will work directly with the Sales Executive after the need is determined.  He or she will work with the Sales Executive and the client to understand the business goals, build out the SOW and presentations, work to create the solution and present to C-suite executives helping to close the sale.  Part of the full pre-sales/sales pipeline process, deal qualification, go-to-market strategies, portfolio definition, delivery assessments, and heavy customer engagement.  Lead SAP portfolio development and provide strategic direction for clients. 

Demonstrated Skills include: 

  • At least 15 years of experience in the SAP consulting services industry with a focus on pre-sales support
  • Pre-sales expertise should include selling of AMS (Application Management Support) services
  • Proven track record of selling deals with a total contract value (TCV) with a minimum of $5 million preferably greater than $8 million
  • Experience in putting together resource models, SOW’s and giving sales presentations
  • Ability to articulate value proposition for offering AMS services
  • Well versed in standard industry tool sets that are commonly used in SAP AMS engagements
  • Must be able show (and have previously used) innovative approaches to differentiate and position AMS services in the market

 

Basic Required qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in the SAP consulting services industry with a focus on pre-sales support.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Application Management Support and how it benefits organizations.
