A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks an Emerging Alliances Operations Lead to join our team in Plano, TX.


The Emerging Alliances Operations Lead will work under the direction of the Emerging Alliances Senior Director with shared responsibility for:

  • Supporting the identification, evaluation and recommendation of additional vendors where NTT DATA should develop non-equity alliances to further its mission of delivering high value digital transformation services to its clients.  Operations lead will work under the direction and in concert with the Emerging Alliances
  • Developing the framework for evaluation of new partners based on criteria such as capabilities, proof of concepts, addressable market, client fit etc., and building recommendations.  Candidate will work with a team of key stakeholders (offering leadership and alliance peers) to build partner playbook and process for vetting emerging alliance partners. 
  • Supporting interactions of NTT DATA within Japanese parent company Alliances team; providing business unit input into highest priority emerging partners. 
  • Supporting go to market relationships with a portfolio of relevant partners and working with internal legal, procurement and engineering teams to establish partnership framework and focus. 
  • Supporting regular cadence of joint executive meetings to ensure alignment and monitor progress on strategic initiatives.   
  • Onboarding emerging partners, developing initial go-to-market plans, supporting offering development, and collaborating with the partner to develop critical mass.
  • Ensuring day to day oversight of any new emerging partnership including joint account planning and sales execution and maintaining strategic, industry and joint solution focus of the alliance.



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of alliance operations experience
  • Ability to champion the creation of differentiated solutions based on partner’s and NTT DATA’s products and capabilities
  • Highly analytical with expert level skills in developing value propositions, defining evaluation criteria and analyzing results to develop recommendations
  • Superior executive communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Expert knowledge of and skilled in contract interpretation, negotiations and project management
  • Ability to travel 50% of time (pending post-COVID return to office guidance)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA highly preferred
