We are currently seeking a Executive, Head of APPS & BPS within Manufacturing Domain for North America to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role Summary
NTT DATA is seeking an Industry Vertical Practice Leader for Manufacturing, Automotive & Hi-Tech to lead delivery excellence and profitable growth across our Applications, Data, and Business Process Services portfolio. This role has end-to-end responsibility for practice P&L, client outcomes, and expansion within existing accounts.
The leader will collaborate closely with Sales teams and strategic partners to drive industry-led growth and differentiated solutions, without carrying a traditional sales quota.
Key Responsibilities
Practice & P&L Leadership
- Own practice financial performance, including revenue growth, margins, and delivery efficiency.
- Drive profitable, sustainable growth through scalable offerings, delivery optimization, and innovation.
- Establish strong governance and operational rigor across complex client programs.
Industry & Domain Leadership
- Provide deep domain expertise across Manufacturing, Automotive, and/or Hi-Tech industries.
- Lead industry conversations around Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, digital supply chains, connected products, PLM, ERP modernization, and data & AI.
- Translate industry trends into differentiated, repeatable solutions.
Client Expansion & Value Creation
- Drive account expansion within existing clients across applications, data platforms, analytics, automation, and business process services.
- Shape integrated, cross-practice solutions aligned to client business outcomes.
- Strengthen long-term client partnerships through delivery excellence and measurable value.
Sales & Alliance Partnership
- Partner with Sales teams to support priority pursuits, practice campaigns, and solution positioning.
- Leverage alliances with hyperscalers, application platforms, engineering platforms, and industry ecosystems.
- Contribute to solution design, pricing models, and value propositions without direct sales accountability.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing leaders aligned to industry needs.
- Invest in skills across digital engineering, data, automation, and cloud-native platforms.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, and/or Hi-Tech services and technology.
- Proven P&L ownership and experience leading large, complex services portfolios.
- Deep understanding of industry processes, platforms, and transformation initiatives.
- Strong background in applications, data & analytics, digital engineering, and business process services.
- Experience working with global delivery models and partner ecosystems.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
