We are currently seeking a Full-Stack Javascript Practice Lead - Senior Director to join our team remotely.

One you are here, you will:

 

  • Lead and manage a large team of 300 engineers, both onshore and offshore, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for solution development, sales engineering support, and delivery
  • Develop and implement delivery plans, including defining scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and mentor team members to foster professional growth and development.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
  • Manage operational metrics and align capacity, capabilities, and geographies to demand.
  • Technical expert in JavaScript, NodeJS, and distributed systems.

 

 Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years of experience building and delivering software
  • 8+ years of experience in JavaScript, NodeJS, and distributed systems
  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying full-stack solutions in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • 3+ years leadership experience required including overall talent development and mentorship
  • 3+ years of experiencing working in a highly consultative environment with demonstrated strong verbal, and written communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Professional services and consulting experience
  • Thought leadership, publications, and/or speaking at conferences

Role requires up to 25% travel. Must reside in the US.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $177,660-$250,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. 

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
