We are currently seeking a Health Digital Experience Director to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The Healthcare industry is being disrupted by new digital-first technologies and business models (Healthtech), and we are at the heart of this massive industry transformation. We provide state-of-the-art digital technology and transformation expertise. The Health Digital Experience Director will be responsible for strategic digital advisory to our clients and subsequently taking ownership for the delivery and execution of digital transformation initiatives to enhance the consumer’s health journey and ensure a seamless experience (i.e., Healthcare Digital Front Door strategy).

 

Areas of focus:

  • Health Journey and Consumer Experience: Find new and innovative ways to meet the needs of healthcare consumers and stakeholders; develop solutions that transform the healthcare experience; provide convenient, personalized, and integrated access to healthcare support and services – enabling both physical and virtual interactions.  Shape the healthcare consumer experience by reducing inefficiencies within healthcare client organizations and optimize healthcare consumer engagement across various channels.
  • Strategic Executive Relations: Work with the largest healthcare organizations who rely on NTT DATA Services as their trusted advisor to help them successfully execute their digital transformation and drive the consumer experience through innovation (i.e., Digital Front Door strategy)
  • Digital Transformation Roadmaps: Help clients translate their business objectives into innovative digital strategies to help support the healthcare consumer experience
  • Digital Transformation Expertise: Apply digital transformation expertise and consulting/execution management skills to help drive healthcare client leaders from strategy to execution

 

By collaborating closely with business, outside thought leaders, and commercial partners, The Health Digital Experience Director will turn strategy and ideas into disruptive and transformational capabilities and products for clients and their healthcare consumers. The focus will be both highly visible and highly impactful for the healthcare clients we serve. The primary focus will be on early innovation, design principles of market and consumer research, human-centered design, and prototyping/learning. The secondary focus will be on building and/or integrating solutions with partners in internal and external ecosystems into a common experience.  Excellent organizational navigational, communication and facilitator skills will be needed to drive a culture of innovation and execution to support the consumer experience. Expertise will be needed in the following areas: design thinking, technical design, data, and advanced analytics, technology trends, business landscaping, and market analysis, and awareness of regulatory standards and policies.

 

Other areas of responsibilities to drive healthcare digital innovation:

  • Combine empathy, creative instinct, and business savvy to challenge the assumptions our consumers have made about the best ways to extract value from their ecosystems
  • Work directly with client executives and key decision-makers to shape the future of their businesses, powered by advanced technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers, designers, and product experts to design and conduct innovation engagements that will drive the consumer experience
  • Champion a human-centered, entrepreneurial approach to strategic healthcare transformation with our clients and partners
  • Anticipate the key decisions and change levers needed to make progress, and create the organizational alignment and momentum towards a vision
  • Create original content, frameworks, concepts, and visions to design and shape critical conversations with clients
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of how cloud platforms can create transformative value for healthcare clients and their healthcare consumers
  • Continually monitor and share emergent, disruptive trends in the broader healthcare spaces and identify how digital technologies can enhance the healthcare consumer experience

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably provider-based, serving clients in healthcare innovation and in a digital transformation strategy consulting capacity
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience interfacing with business, IT, and technology stakeholders to create market-facing, value differentiating business model innovation by applying existing and emerging technology solutions, with a focus on the healthcare consumer experience
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a management consulting environment (i.e., Big 4)
  • BA or BS required, with an advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPA, MHA, MS)

 

Preferred

  • Entrepreneurial / Intrapreneurial attitude with a focus on emerging and new technologies in healthcare and other sectors
  • Executive presence, broad-thinking, and articulate with the ability to navigate through ambiguity to identify key value drivers and business models to develop strategic insights
  • Experience in recognizing the impact of technical/digital approaches can have on strategic business decisions
  • Familiar with strategies and industry standards on data acquisition, agreements, warehousing, analytics, machine learning, and AI
  • Demonstrated understanding of business constraints and an ability to independently develop and convey highly complex strategic concepts in a concise and consumable manner for various audiences
  • Business acumen with knowledge of strategy, business model design, design thinking, and experimentation/ agile organizations and a successful track record of engaging senior executives and leading complex high-stakes projects & teams
  • Experience with advanced technology platforms from a business/client user perspective.
  • Knowledge of key features and components of cloud capabilities as well as knowledge of common consumer-facing technologies in healthcare
