Role Summary:

As a Lead/Strategic Advisor, Innovation and Product Strategy, you will drive actionable insights and develop impactful portfolios and programs that transform ideas into results. Your focus will include leading collaborative sessions, rapid prototyping, and direct client engagement to tackle business challenges and define strategic opportunities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft go-to-market strategies, assess feasibility, and deliver user-centered solutions. Key responsibilities include business modeling, market analysis, forecasting, user research, service blueprinting integraion, and commercialization planning. Leverage expertise in digital ecosystems, innovation, and customer-centric approaches to accelerate growth and optimize organizational outcomes.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Discover & Frame

  • Define enterprise growth themes, investment theses, and portfolio POV.
  • Conduct primary / secondary research, synthesize insights, size opportunities.
  • Translate findings into sharp problem statements, JTBD, and hypothesis backlogs.
  • Interprets internal and external business issues and delivers recommendations to support business strategy.
  • Lead or co-lead opportunity framing and value proposition development workshops
  • Collaborate with service designers on interviews, user journey and persona insights
  • Set a strategic direction, identify growth opportunities, and optimize organizational performance

 

Design & Model:

  • Lead visioning sessions to craft disruptive value propositions and service models.
  • Value Calculation Hypothesis, Product Value Chain Analysis, and Positioning, Business justification and case development
  • Frame and document problem statements aligned to user and business needs
  • Build robust financial constructs (scenario models, real options, valuation) to justify investments.
  • Develop value propositions, lean financial models (TAM, unit economics), trend analysis, competitive research, consumer research consolidation, and landscape/market analysis to support ideation and provide thought leadership and MVP roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with UX and service design on journeys, personas, and blueprints.

 

Market & Ecosystem Influence:

  • Scan tech, regulatory, and socio-economic trends; publish insights that differentiate our POV.

 

Validate & Deliver:

  • Develop initial business plans, cost/timing estimates, and business case materials
  • Design A/B, concept, and viability tests; analyze results to de-risk investment.
  • Support go-to-market plans and early commercialization with cross-functional teams.
  • Craft detailed strategies and KPIs for innovation initiatives

 

Advise & Grow:

  • Translate findings into actionable roadmaps that align to digital capabilities
  • Facilitate business architecture and value chain alignment discussions and workshops with client leads; present insights to senior managers.
  • Mentor analysts; contribute templates, POVs, and internal training sessions.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional squads (5-15 people) through discovery, design, pilot, and scale.
  • Ensure integration with digital platforms, SOA/API layers, data strategies, and ops models.

 

Talent & Thought Leadership:

  • Mentor 5-8 consultants; drive capability-building programs.
  • Represent Launch in events, and client executive briefings.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years in digital strategy, venture building or product innovation consulting at premium consultancy or corporate incubator.
  • 10+ years building digital platforms utilizing emerging tech.
  • 5+ years of experience influencing C-suite and boards via exceptional storytelling and workshop facilitation.
  • 7+ years working in product management driving enterprise-level transformations or launching multi-million dollar businesses
  • 3+ years building financial models and building products via design-led innovation modalities

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Deep fluency in data architecture
  • Fluent in business design toolset: BMC/Lean Canvas, TAM/SAM/SOM, service blueprinting.
  • Familiar with Agile, JTBD, Design Thinking, Lean Start-Up.
  • Strong analytical chops (Excel, SQL, or BI tools) and storytelling skills (PPT, Miro, Figma, etc.).
  • Experience in related fields, such as product marketing, sales enablement, or business development, can also be valuable
  • Thought-leader: published articles, conference speaker, or patent holder.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $149,445.00 - $345,938.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
