NTT DATA Services currently seeks a MEDITECH Clinical Application Support Analyst to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are currently looking for a MEDITECH Clinical Support Advisor to join our Applications Management team. In this role you will have the ability to work remotely from your home with minimal travel to our customer’s site(s).

 

As a Meditech Clinical Support Advisor, you will demonstrate strong customer service regarding responsiveness to customer requests for support assistance: troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, or system enhancements and correction testing.  You will also have strong customer relationship and technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to build consensus and break down barriers through multiple layers of clients and internal resources. 

 

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Applies business systems and applications analysis skills and knowledge in support of MEDITECH applications, including at least one of the following: NUR/PCS, EDM, POM, EMR, LAB, PHA, RAD/ITS, PCM, MIS, Universe. 
  • Have a broad and strong understanding of the MEDITECH HCIS with the ability to collaborate with end users, customers and internal leadership to define vision and scope as it pertains to the use of the MEDITECH HCIS
  • Classifies problems as system, training, or process related and recommends corrections
  • Instruct end users on new technologies and enhancements
  • Guide end users through complex application functionality
  • Provides second and third level support for multiple MEDITECH Clinical applications across a healthcare enterprise
  • Communicates with internal networking and desktop support teams
  • Communicates with end users for problem resolution
  • Establish a close working relationship with the customer
  • Analyzes issues and problems reported by end users and customers
  • Identifies and implements solutions in cooperation with other team members, MEDITECH Inc., and end users and customers
  • Implements new functionality
  • Participates in new module implementation and upgrades
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Ability to work a rotating “on-call” shift as required to include evenings and weekends and holidays

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience / Undergraduate degree and 1-2 years relevant experience
  • 1+ years' experience providing second and third tier end-user support for the MEDITECH Magic, C/S or 6.x Clinical applications such as NUR/PCS, EDM, EMR, POM, PCM, PHA, LAB, ITS/RAD, MIS, Universe or other relevant clinical applications
  • Experience with the successful support, implementation, or upgrade of at least one MEDITECH module
  • Experience with business process analysis and design, including identification and implementation of “best practices”, where applicable and practical within the project time lines
  • Experience with and understanding of clinical dictionaries and application functionality and how they impact other module
  • Experience developing technical documentation and estimation of resource requirements for tasks and small projects
  • Experience working with MEDITECH Inc. to resolve issues

  • Hospital operations, such as Nursing, Emergency department, Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory departments, or Clinical Informatics
