NTT DATA Services currently seeks a MEDITECH DR Report Developer - Remote to join our team in Remote, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

This position is primarily responsible for supporting MEDITECH Data Repository, the associated Microsoft SQL Database Management System, including data validation, and SQL / NPR report writing.  


 Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop dashboard reports and scheduled delivery processes utilizing SQL jobs.
- Efficiently produce ad-hoc SQL based reports in an on-demand environment.
- Maintenance and development of processes to facilitate healthcare data exchange between MEDITECH Data repository, SQL and any ODBC compliant software.
- Daily troubleshooting, support of report writing/development to support clinical and financial requirements including but not limited to Meaningful Use, clinical or regulatory reporting, comprehensive financial reports and provide user assistance in extracting data.
- Validate data sources and ensure continuous transfer of information to tables.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to SQL databases.
- Have proven and strong Customer relationship skills with the ability to build consensus and break down barriers through multiple layers of clients and internal recourses.
- Demonstrates customer service regarding responsiveness to customer requests for support assistance, whether troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, or system enhancements and correction testing
- Applies business systems and applications analysis skills and knowledge in support of Data Repository and NPR
- Communicates with end users for problem resolution

- Work on-call rotation as scheduled

 

Basic Requirements:

- 3-5 years Data Repository experience; DR audit, maintenance, data table loads and validation, background jobs

- 3-5 years broad-based experience with MEDITECH applications across the clinical, HIM and revenue cycle spectrum.

- 5+ years NPR report programming /development

- Experience with business process analysis and design, including identification and implementation of “best practices”, where applicable and practical within the project time lines

 

Preferred Skills:

- SQL, DBA,.Net, Business Intelligence, Dash Board, Data Validation, DBMS,O

- Meaningful Use dashboard and report development experience

- Hospital operational knowledge and/or experience

- Knowledge of routines and functions, system parameters, dictionary structure, maintenance, and standard reports.

- Knowledge of MEDITECH C/S, MAGIC platforms; 6.x is a plus.

- Ability to work within, foster and grow a strong team environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently
