We are currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Senior Director to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We’re looking for an experienced regional Engagement & Internal Communications professional with a dedicated focus, supporting our Regional CEO and leadership team in North America.  Based in Plano, TX and collaborating closely with regional leaders, you’ll lead the EIC team in the region. This is a unique opportunity to shape the internal voice of the regional strategy and build meaningful connections across the workforce.

This role reports to the NTT DATA, Inc. SVP of EIC, and works closely with the regional People and Culture Strategic Business Partner and Regional CEO - aligning local implementation with global priorities. It ensures that impactful, inclusive and culturally relevant communication activities are delivered that enhance employee experience and organizational performance.

 

What you’ll do

Lead and deliver EE & IC Strategy

  • Develop and execute a regional EIC plan aligned with global objectives and best practices and tailored to local regional needs.
  • Lead EIC country leads and team within region.
  • Advise and support regional CEO and business leaders on strategic communication and engagement.
  • Oversee and optimize communication channels, supporting the transition to global platforms and best practices and ensuring local language accessibility.
  • Manage resources, agencies, creative briefs and budgets at the regional level.

Leadership engagement

  • Shape and deliver leadership communications that drive clarity, trust and alignment.
  • Coach and support leaders in effective communication practices.

Global program localization

  • Partner with global EIC Center of Excellence to implement global initiatives, campaigns and content with appropriate regional tailoring.
  • Ensure consistency with global brand and culture narrative while addressing local and operational nuances.

Listening and insights

  • Support interpretation and communication of employee feedback (e.g., Engagement Surveys).
  • Align insights with engagement strategies and action planning.
  • Use metrics and insights to enhance communication and engagement efforts.

External communications alignment

  • Collaborate with Marketing and local leaders to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging.

Crisis and issues management

  • Provide strategic communication support during crises or sensitive issues, ensuring timely and transparent messaging, working closely global crisis communications.

Transformation and change enablement

  • Contribute to Business and People & Culture transformation efforts, including audits and implementation of new models and strategies.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement in communication practices.

  • Strong planning and prioritization skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative spirit and high accountability - you lead by example and bring energy to team dynamics.
  • A champion of innovation and continuous learning, with a strong eye for detail and quality.
  • Experienced in using / leading communication tools and platforms such as Poppulo, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint in a global enterprise environment.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven leadership in EIC within complex, matrixed and international environments.
  • Deep expertise in communication strategy, transformation and employee engagement metrics.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with digital platforms, social media and data-driven communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, HR or related field; advanced certifications in coaching, change or behavioral science preferred.
