We are currently seeking a Marketing Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Description:

The Cloud Marketing Advisor will work with the Cloud Practice and Offering leaders to execute marketing activities and content development for demand generation and marketing programs for NTT DATA Cloud portfolio of offerings and services.    This person will gain an understanding of our cloud offerings and solutions and develop the marketing strategy and programs to help the team to achieve overall goals.   This plan will include management of our Tech Blog and look at how we leverage media, create press releases, and what events or exhibits should we consider.    The marketing plan should help generate leads and new sales opportunities.


The Cloud Marketing Advisor is an individual contributor role reporting to the Practice Marketing Director and assumes responsibility for developing and implementing Marketing & Communications materials in support of the Cloud practice marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving content marketing activities and communications that successfully position NTT DATA Services Cloud solutions and offerings and distinguish the company from competitors.


The Practice Marketing Advisor collaborates across internal groups including the other Practice Marketing team members, Marketing Engagement Leads, subject matter experts, and content experts to implement the marketing strategy, campaigns and programs on behalf of the NTT DATA Cloud Services business.


This person is responsible for delivering integrated marketing content that meets business financial goals, aligning with corporate, vertical and/or regional initiatives, and capitalize on the latest market trends and opportunities.

This is a marketing communications role tasked with increasing NTT DATA Services awareness by:

  • Developing messaging to support the Cloud Services portfolio
  • Translating business strategies and services offerings into key marketing messages and communications.
  • Creating and maintaining online and offline sales enablement content
  • Supporting the development and execution of various demand generation programs designed to generate awareness and build sales pipeline
  • Developing digital content and website promotions for
  • Management of our Tech Blog
  • Working with sales operations to better understand the needs and requirements of the sales force (buying/sales cycles, client intelligence, etc.).
  • Monitoring and improving marketing's content/asset life cycle.
  • Developing appropriate targeted messages to drive service and solution positioning, increase sales and enhance market share.
  • Evaluating and adjusting marketing, branding and communications strategies to respond to changing market trends.


Skills Required:

  • Graduate/Undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing or journalism.
  • 8+ years in marketing and communications working on a global scale.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Experience and positive results executing marketing programs.
  • Relevant experience in Cloud Services industry with is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT Services and the Cloud services market.
  • Excellent project management skills working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of AP Style.
  • Facility working with both technical and business teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of business and marketing strategy, concepts, tools and techniques, including promotions, direct mail, customer relations, and advertising.
  • Online demand generation experience with successful results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and make recommendations to change approach or strategy.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a track record of driving results.
  • Effective communicator with strong personal skills, able to forge internal and external relationships, ability to engage across all levels of NTT DATA and with external partners.
  • Must be organized, enthusiastic, results-oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment.
