NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Security Associate Director to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

The Network Security Associate Director oversees and coordinates a team of 10+ engineers who work on Firewalls, IDS/IPS and Content filtering technologies for multiple vendors (i.e.  Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper, Sourcefire, McAfee, Bluecoat, Websense) and provide outstanding IT Security support to all of NTT DATA Services’ customers.  You will work with a fast-paced global leader in IT Security Services.  
 
Responsibilities: 
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that NTT DATA Services and the Information Security Operations Center are able to meet its customers’ expectations and deliver quality services within specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations
- Support the goals and objectives set forth by the Sr. leadership of the Network Security Operation Team
- Assign responsibilities to each member of the team and hold them accountable
- Ensure that all Service Management processes are followed and all incident and requests are addressed within the required time to adhere to published SLAs
- Provide details RCAs for high severity incidents to the accounts and customers
- Attend bridge calls (MIMs) for major incidents and ensure that the required engineers from the team are engaged and the issue is fixed within the desired timeframe
- Ensure the aging of requests/incidents are well under control and all the tickets are being followed up regularly as per the defined processes
- Detect security issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure
- Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Perform system maintenance and maintain current documentation
- Update Standard Operating Procedures as and when there is an important update
- Provide resolution plans for device issues
- Propose process and technical improvements to management

 

Basic Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience working with various network security tools (i.e.  Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.), as well as IPS/IDS devises, content filtering devices, TACACS Administration, etc., or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices

 

Preferences
- Network Security certifications (2-3) from Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, McAfee, BlueCoat, SourceFire (i.e. CCSE, CCIE, CCNP Security, PCNSE, CCSP, JNCIP, BCCPA, BCCPP, etc.)
- ITIL Certification
