We are currently seeking a SAP Senior Project Manger / PMO Lead - Remote US Position 

Our SAP Senior Project Managers work closely with different stakeholders through the client organization to coordinate the consultancy-side implementation team (management, subject matter experts, consultants, and developers) accordingly. This involves driving all the project stages, including planning and execution. A Project Manager in the SAP world wears many hats. Responsibilities will vary depending on the size of the implementation and their own technical acumen.

Job Function / Day to Day Responsibilities

• The candidate is responsible for developing project plans and schedules and managing the timely execution of the work, as well as managing team outages and vacation schedules
• The candidate is responsible for developing project charters and managing project scope and creation of necessary change requests, ensuring they meet corporate margin and revenue targets
• The candidate is responsible for managing project risks, issues and key decision processes, ensuring all key decisions are captured and documented throughout project execution.
• The candidate is the primary point for project related escalations and responsible for the coordination of their resolution as per the project related governance structures
• The candidate is responsible for accurate status reporting in line with the project governance requirements, fulfilling both internal and customer-facing weekly, monthly, quarterly, Stage Gate reporting requirements. 
• The candidate will mobilize the precepts of effective project management in a manner that aligns to client culture while optimizing likelihood of meeting (or exceeding) project objectives
• The candidate will concurrently manage projects for our customers providing day-to-day leadership to analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement SAP and related solutions
• Manage SAP greenfield implementations as well as brownfield technical upgrade projects or smaller SAP projects including related projects in non-SAP areas
• Work closely with individual SAP Program Managers, architects, technical teams, functional analysts to ensure delivery
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the SAP project, project methodology, technology and functionality
• Collaborate with the project leadership from the client and all participating vendors to define, architect, drive and deliver a cohesive project
• Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully
• Manage the financials for the project, ensuring revenue and margin targets for the project are in line with expectations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience handling programs, each of a size of 20M – 40M with an annual run rate of 5M – 10M in Large Enterprise clients (> 5B revenue)
• 10+ years experience with handling multi-site multi-phase projects, each of a size of 5m – 10M and a team size of 20 – 40 FTEs
• 10+ years of experience with managing at least 5 S/4 HANA projects and 10+ deployments
• Must have a core background in one of the SAP Functional modules/ process areas and being hands-on with SAP
• Experience in 4 or more industries from Manufacturing (discrete, process), Pharma and Life Sciences, Medical Devices, CPG/ Retail, Aerospace, Transportation, Public Sector
• 10+ years’ experience managing large-scale projects end to end with SAP as a key component for large enterprise clients.
• 10+ years of SAP Project Management experience, possessing experience managing at least 4 full life cycle SAP implementation projects
• 10+ years of experience Managing projects dealing with organizational and business process transformations and large-scale initiatives
• 10+ years of experience Managing project stakeholders and engaging with customer leadership
• Motivating, energizing, and collaborating with team contributors at all levels in the organization, from employee to executive.
• 10+ years’ experience focusing on results and ensuring project objectives are met, measured in terms of business value, and financials.
• 10+ years’ experience demonstrating the advantages of a proposed approach or solution
• 10+ years’ experience in SAP Activate Methodology as well as excellent presentation skills
