NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Counsel: Outsourcing Attorney to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

Outsourcing Attorney/Experienced Contract Negotiator

This role will support the Healthcare and Life Sciences strategic business unit of NTT DATA Services. This role will negotiate and manage a range of customer-facing outsourcing contracts, ranging from staff augmentation to complex, multi-year, multi-tower managed services transactions. 


The ideal candidate will have: 

At least 8 years of experience as an outsourcing attorney or contract negotiator
In-depth knowledge as to market terms for customer-facing outsourcing services agreements
The ability to successfully interact with senior business executives
Preferably, knowledge of the US healthcare and life sciences market, and healthcare specific issues such as HIPAA

 

Specific responsibilities include:

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts in support of IT services sales and delivery organizations

Reviewing and preparing responses to requests for proposal, requests for information and similar competitive bid documents

Reviewing and advising on documents prepared by customers and other business partners and their counsel, including  service agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, and pricing schedules

Identifying, analyzing and advising clients on various contractual provisions and issues in outsourcing transactions, including the scope of the services to be provided, service level agreements, service level credit structures, benchmarking, termination provisions, and intellectual property rights

Providing customer specific assessments of risk

Assisting in developing resolutions to business disputes with customers

Enforcing compliance with corporate policies

 

Location: Preferably office-based in Plano, TX, but we are willing to consider remote working for exceptional candidates.
