We are currently seeking a Senior Executive, Head of P&C to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Executive, Head of People & Culture – North America NTT DATA, Inc.

Location: North America

Reporting To: Chief People Officer (CPO)

HC Scope: ~15,000 employees across North America

 

Role Purpose

The Executive, Head of People & Culture – North America is a senior enterprise leadership role accountable for shaping and delivering the People & Culture (P&C) agenda across North America for NTT DATA, Inc, with full accountability for end‑to‑end people outcomes across a workforce of approximately 15,000 employees

 

Operating as a true executive peer to regional business and growth leadership, partnering closely with the North America Regional Business Leader and the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to directly enable business performance, growth, scalability, and transformation. The role plays a critical part in both regional execution and global enterprise leadership—partnering closely with the CPO to help design, govern, and drive global P&C initiatives, transformation programs, and operating model evolution.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Own end‑to‑end People & Culture strategy and outcomes for North America, aligned to global P&C direction and regional business priorities.

• Lead the People & Culture strategy for North America, fully aligned to NTT DATA’s global P&C framework and regional business priorities.

• Ensure people, culture, and leadership capability are a direct enabler of revenue growth, delivery excellence, and margin performance.

• Partner closely with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and business leadership to enable growth strategies, client delivery scalability, talent readiness, and capability build for priority markets and offerings.

• Build and lead a high performing P&C consultant organization supporting global practices, functions and regional HRBPs  while executing consistently at scale.

• Translate business strategy into clear people implications using workforce analytics, market insight, and financial acumen

• Play a key leadership role in M&A activities, including due diligence, people risk assessment, deal integration planning, and post merger integration execution.

• Embed NTT DATA’s culture, values, and leadership attributes across North America—ensuring they are visible in how leaders lead and decisions are made.

• Lead the people dimensions of organizational scaling, restructuring, and simplification initiatives linked to growth and transformation.

• Partner with the CPO and global P&C leadership on enterprise-wide transformation, integration, and growth initiatives.

• Ensure strong governance and compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and employee relations requirements across North America.

• Provide executive level guidance on complex and sensitive people issues with sound judgment and confidentiality.

• Champion digital enablement within P&C, leveraging technology, data, and AI to shift from transactional execution to strategic insight.

• Lead, develop, and inspire a senior regional P&C leadership team, ensuring strong alignment, capability, and succession.

 

Leadership Capabilities and Experience

 

• Enterprise level People & Culture leader with experience operating at Executive Committee / Senior Leadership Team level in large, complex organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders, balancing commercial outcomes with people impact.

• Proven success leading through ambiguity, complexity, large scale transformation, and growth.

• Deep expertise across core P&C domains, including organization design, executive talent and succession, leadership development, employee relations, and change management.

• Strong commercial and growth mindset, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable people and workforce outcomes.

• Experience operating in a large, regulated, multi jurisdiction environment—ideally within professional services, technology, or consulting led organizations.

• Demonstrated leadership in M&A, post merger integration, and organizational transformation.

• Strong track record of digital enablement, data driven decision making, and AI enabled workforce strategies.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

 

• Visionary and strategic leader with a strong People & Culture and business lens.

• Confident operating in a global matrix while advocating effectively for regional priorities.

• High credibility and executive presence with the ability to operate at Board and C suite level.

• Structured, analytical thinker with a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach to problem solving.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • HR experience leading company workforce in excess of 15,000 employees across North America 
  • 10 years of experience being a Chief People Officer
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 10 years experience operating at Executive Committee / Senior Leadership Team level in large, complex organization
