About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Administrator / Oracle DBA to manage, support, and modernize enterprise PeopleSoft FSCM Production and Non-Production environments.

This is a highly technical role spanning the PeopleSoft application stack, middleware, Linux infrastructure, Oracle databases, integrations, automation, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining highly available, secure, and high-performing environments while supporting upgrades, migrations, implementations, and ongoing operational needs.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Administration and Oracle Database, combined with strong knowledge of automation, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise application integrations.

 

Responsibilities:

PeopleSoft Administration

  • Install, configure, administer, and support PeopleSoft FSCM environments across Production, Non-Production, and implementation environments.
  • Administer PeopleTools, PUM Images, Application Designer, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, and related PeopleSoft components.
  • Perform PeopleTools, PUM, application, and database upgrades.
  • Use Deployment Packages (DPK) for PeopleSoft installation, configuration, and environment management.
  • Manage multiple PUM Images and coordinate application maintenance activities.
  • Perform environment refreshes, cloning, configuration, troubleshooting, and post-maintenance validation.
  • Support major PeopleSoft upgrades and infrastructure transitions, including analysis of customizations through compare reports.
  • Monitor and maintain application health and performance across the PeopleSoft technology stack.

 

Oracle Database Administration

  • Serve as a senior Oracle DBA supporting PeopleSoft FSCM and related enterprise applications.
  • Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments.
  • Support modern Oracle Database releases, including 19c and newer versions where applicable.
  • Administer Oracle RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Design and maintain backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery solutions.
  • Perform database performance tuning, including:
    • SQL optimization
    • Execution-plan analysis
    • Memory tuning
    • Resource utilization
    • Database health monitoring
  • Apply Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU), Release Updates (RU), and other security and maintenance fixes.
  • Perform database exports/imports, cloning, environment refreshes, and recovery activities.
  • Monitor database capacity, performance, availability, and storage utilization.

 

PeopleSoft Middleware & Application Infrastructure

  • Administer and optimize WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and PeopleSoft application servers.
  • Configure, maintain, and monitor PeopleSoft web and application server environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues involving:
    • Application Engine
    • Integration Broker
    • SQR
    • Process Scheduler
    • Change Assistant
    • WebLogic
    • Tuxedo
  • Configure and maintain OpenSearch and related PeopleSoft infrastructure components.
  • Diagnose complex issues across the application, middleware, operating-system, and database layers.

 

Release & Deployment Automation

  • Administer and support Phire Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) across PeopleSoft environments.
  • Manage object migrations, version control, change requests, deployment tracking, and audit requirements.
  • Configure and maintain automated deployment and release processes.
  • Perform periodic Phire upgrades and maintenance.
  • Establish repeatable processes for environment promotion and release management.

 

Integration & API Management

  • Configure, secure, and monitor integrations between PeopleSoft FSCM and third-party enterprise and supply-chain applications.
  • Administer Integration Broker, Integration Gateway, IB Nodes, and related integration infrastructure.
  • Support secure REST and SOAP web services and API integrations.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures across PeopleSoft, middleware, APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Ensure integration environments meet enterprise security and reliability standards.

 

Automation & Scripting

  • Develop and maintain Linux Shell and/or Python scripts to automate administration and operational tasks.
  • Automate activities such as:
    • Environment health checks
    • System monitoring
    • Alerting
    • Database cloning
    • Environment refreshes
    • File transfers
    • Interface transmissions
    • Operational maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual administration through automation and standardized processes.

 

Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure

  • Support integration between on-premises PeopleSoft environments and cloud infrastructure such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
  • Administer and troubleshoot hybrid infrastructure spanning enterprise data centers and cloud platforms.
  • Support secure data movement and application connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Participate in cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure-transition initiatives.

 

Security, Compliance & Data Integrity

  • Implement and maintain security across the PeopleSoft application, middleware, operating system, and database layers.
  • Manage Tuxedo and application-level security configurations.
  • Perform periodic DDDAUDIT and SYSAUDIT checks to identify data and system integrity issues.
  • Monitor and apply Oracle security patches and critical updates.
  • Ensure PeopleSoft and database environments comply with enterprise security and operational standards.
  • Maintain appropriate backup, recovery, access-control, and audit processes.

 

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide advanced technical support for mission-critical PeopleSoft environments.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for production support and critical incidents.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, middleware, database, and integration issues.
  • Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, and functional teams to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, and environment standards.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft Administration and Oracle Database Administration experience.
  • Strong experience administering PeopleSoft FSCM in enterprise environments.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Phire ALM and PeopleSoft migration/release processes.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleTools 8.61/8.62+, including Fluid UI, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, and PUM.
  • Strong Oracle Database administration experience, including RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and OEM.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Database 19c or newer enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Oracle patching, Critical Patch Updates (CPU), Release Updates (RU), upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting experience.
  • Experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and PeopleSoft application infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft integrations, REST/SOAP services, and Integration Broker.
  • Experience with OCI and/or AWS in hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application, middleware, operating-system, and database layers.
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Database 23ai / 26ai or other current Oracle releases.
  • Experience with Micro Focus Visual COBOL in PeopleSoft FSCM environments.
  • Experience with OpenSearch and PeopleSoft Search infrastructure.
  • Advanced Linux Shell and/or Python scripting skills.
  • Experience automating PeopleSoft environment cloning and refresh processes.
  • Experience leading PeopleSoft upgrades, migrations, and major infrastructure transformations.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architecture and enterprise data-center integration.
  • Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and disaster-recovery requirements.
  • Oracle and/or PeopleSoft certifications are an asset.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated technical expertise may be considered.

 

 

 

 

Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $88,200-$153,125 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
